Hello,
Beautiful ones.
Welcome.
So I'm sending you some love today.
I know that sometimes you feel like you messed up.
There are days when you feel like you can't do anything right.
You might wake up in the morning and you're convinced that you cannot possibly face the day and all there is in it.
Or maybe you look in the mirror and say to yourself,
If people knew the real me,
They would not want to hang out or be with me.
You try again and again and you believe that you just start measuring up.
So I want to spend some time today validating and affirming and sending you some love and compassion.
I want you to know nothing that happened yesterday has to determine who you are today.
You are strong and resilient.
You're worthy of health,
Happiness,
Love,
And affection.
You're radiant,
Beautiful,
Important,
And worthy.
You can claim your happiness,
Your peace,
Grace,
And love.
So now settle into this meditation,
Closing your eyes if you haven't already done so,
And taking a nice deep,
Full breath and letting it out.
And taking another full,
Deep breath in,
The deepest breath you've taken all day.
And as you exhale,
Just let it out with a sigh.
Whatever way feels good to you,
Finding your breath in your body.
The rise and the fall,
Or the way the air enters and exits your nose.
And just settling into the breathing of your breath.
With each exhalation,
Just let go more and more.
Let go of the tension.
Let go of the tightness in your muscles.
Allow the breath to soothe and nurture you.
Sinking deeper and deeper into whatever you're sitting or lying upon.
Allowing your body to just let go and feel as comfortable as it wants to feel right now.
And as you're breathing comfortably and easily,
Bring your attention to the top of your head.
Down into your face,
Smoothing out your furrowed brow,
Unclenching your jaw.
Moving down into your neck and your shoulders.
Allowing the tension to just melt away.
Exhaling your chest and your belly and your upper back and your middle back.
Breathing comfortably,
Allowing your belly to soften.
Moving down into your hips and your pelvic floor,
Releasing any clenching or tightness.
Moving down through your legs all the way to your feet.
Noticing the soles of your feet.
Are they cool or warm or tingly?
Noticing your hands.
Moving up into your arms,
Your elbows,
Your upper arms.
And just allowing your body,
This body,
To relax and release.
And then if it feels comfortable to do so,
Go ahead and lay one of your hands on your chest,
On your heart,
Or perhaps on your cheek.
Or you can even just cradle them in each other on your lap.
Just feeling that gentle pressure of your hands.
Knowing all that your hands did today or will do today for yourself,
For other people.
And knowing how they love,
They show love,
They receive love.
And now sending some of that love to yourself.
If that's hard to do,
You can bring to mind someone who you love very much,
Who loves you,
A person or a being,
A pet.
And as you bring that person to mind,
Try to bring yourself into the picture as well.
And you can repeat these phrases that I'm going to say in your mind or out loud,
Or you can generate your own phrases.
May we be happy.
May we be healthy.
May we live with ease.
May we suffer less.
May we be grounded and centered.
May we move through our lives with mindful awareness,
Grace,
And compassion.
May we love and may we be loved.
And then if you brought into mind someone else,
Go ahead and let go of that visual and just bring to mind yourself.
You can picture yourself as a young child if that's helpful or just knowing your presence and just feeling that right now.
May I be happy.
May I be healthy.
May I live with ease.
May I suffer less.
May I be grounded and centered.
May I move through my life with mindful awareness,
Grace,
And compassion.
And now perhaps widening it out and sending love,
Sending love to all beings.
May all beings be happy.
May all beings be healthy.
May all beings live with ease.
May all beings suffer less.
May all beings be centered and grounded.
May all beings move with mindful awareness,
Grace,
And compassion.
And now returning your attention to your breath,
Finding your breath in your body once again and noticing how your body feels now after you spent some time loving yourself.
My wish for you is to face today with a loving mind,
Speaking kindness to yourself and others,
And capturing the love that is waiting for you.
You are enough.
What you do is enough.
You are loved,
Beautiful one.
And now wiggling your fingers and your toes,
Moving around in your body a little bit.
And then you may open your eyes whenever you're ready.
Be well and have a wonderful day.
Namaste.
