We all carry a pain that's from our past or that we may be currently experiencing. This can be emotional, physical, or spiritual. This pain is a call for loving attention. We can use the Metta Bhavana practice of loving kindness to bring loving attention to ourselves, allowing us to come into compassionate presence with ourselves and others. This practice guides you through a loving kindness meditation first on yourself, someone else, and then all beings throughout the world. The invitation is to remember our interconnectedness to this human experience.
