Sit comfortably.
Either cross legged or allow your feet to be flat on the ground.
Rest your hands on your knees with the palms facing up or gently in your lap.
Gently close your eyes.
Just allow everything to settle.
The most important thing is just to be.
To be here.
To be conscious.
To practice contentment and fulfillment in the now.
Allow yourself to connect with the now.
Accept the now.
Enjoy the now.
There is a greater self beyond the thinking mind.
The purpose of settling and enjoying and accepting the now is to become familiar with the greater self.
The silent self.
The part of us that has no preferences.
It's not limited by time or space or events.
Again and again,
Allow yourself to step back from the thinking mind.
The remembering mind.
The planning mind.
The doing mind.
To simply feeling into this moment.
To simply being in this moment.
Without trying to create any experience.
Without trying to keep any experience.
Without trying to push away any experience.
Thinking isn't required right now.
And we get familiar with the simple feeling of being.
Not be this or that.
Just be.
And explore this feeling of being more deeply.
This requires us to less be interested in thinking.
We're muting thinking.
Even for five seconds.
As I close this box,
I say,
Enjoy.
