So find a comfortable spot.
Maybe you're in nature like I am.
Sit on your favorite rock or in your bed,
Chair.
If you're sitting keep your spine straight but relaxed.
You could do this with closed eyes or halfway open or even open with a soft gaze,
Slightly downward.
Just take a moment to stop and rest.
Breathe low in your belly.
Lower belly balloons out and lower belly falls and allow yourself to drop it either into what you're sitting on or lying down,
Allowing gravity to aid you in just stopping and grounding.
Just notice how your hips are touching the chair or the bed,
What your back feels like,
The space in the room feels like.
Does it have a sense of lightness or density?
Just notice.
If there are sounds like there are here with the wind blowing lightly through the trees,
Just listen.
Just allow yourself to rest in this space that you're in and just notice.
Not only hearing the sounds but allowing yourself to be that immense background of the sounds,
The witness of the sounds,
Of sensation,
The body touching your bed or the chair.
Continue to allow yourself to fall into any of those aspects,
Be it sound,
Sensation.
The very one that is aware of all this,
Notice how that very awareness has always been the same.
Whether you're at your age now or a month ago,
Last year in the fall or when you were 10,
That same one that notices the sounds of the leaves,
Rocks and twigs underneath your sneakers as a kid is the same now.
It's never aged,
It never will age.
It's as Banke calls the unborn,
The very thing that you were born with,
The one gift that we all share,
The unborn,
Your true nature,
Untouched,
Pristine,
Pure awareness,
Always free.
Allow yourself to keep turning moment by moment to this awareness that is unborn.
Good news is you don't have to do a thing to attain it.
You already are that.
You already are free.
Everything is resolved in the unborn,
Banke says.
Let yourself experience it for a few moments here in silence as you listen.
In this heightened state of awareness and heightened state of relaxation,
Meditation is the equivalent to deep sleep while awake.
Allow yourself to stay with yourself as the unborn.
Notice how simple,
Effortless,
Beingness and perhaps throughout the day you can remember that you're already free,
That you are the unborn.
In any sort of doing or striving is just a roadblock to what you already are.
Keep dropping into the depth of you.
Enjoy the rest of the meditation,
Falling deeper and deeper in love with the unborn you.
Namaste.
