This is a meditation when needing to just stop anytime day or night. Sit, stop, drop in and connect wherever you are. A good one for when the mind is overactive or the day has simply created one too many demands. This will help you re-center into your true nature. A still silent abode to refocus and carry on.

Transcript

Sit tall or lie down comfortably and relax.

Drop down into your lower belly and just breathe low.

Inhale,

Lower belly balloons out and exhale,

It falls.

You are a divine light.

You are an incarnation of God's grace.

Allow yourself to just be.

Inhale,

Lower belly balloons out,

Exhale,

Lower belly falls.

Relax.

Perhaps you've started with a very busy morning and now you're just taking the time to just stop.

Just for this moment,

Just allow yourself a pause and just stop.

Continue to follow the breath as you inhale,

Lower belly balloons out and as you exhale,

It relaxes.

Notice the space that brings.

Allow the mind to just take a break.

Attaching it just to the breath,

Just following inhale and waiting for the exhale.

And following the exhale,

Noticing the space in between.

Wait for the inhale to arise.

Wait for the exhale.

Not regulating the breath,

But simply following it.

Again,

Basking in the space in between.

Notice the thoughts that come and go.

And notice when vigilantly looking for the next thought,

How the mind quiets.

We're not pushing the thoughts away,

We're allowing them to arise and bubble up.

As they bubble up,

They come up and pass.

Continue to just follow the breath and continue to vigilantly wait for the next thought.

When the thought does arise,

Just noticing that it's a thought.

You are who's noticing.

You are not that thought.

Look to where the thought has come from.

As Ramana Maharshi suggested,

Turning your attention to the source of the thought.

And allow yourself to do this over and over again.

Reconnecting with the silence and stillness within the source of it all.

Your true nature.

Just living that well known line.

Be still and know that I am.

Be still and know that.

Be still and know.

Be still.

Be.

Namaste.
