Welcome to your Yoga Nidra practice focused on the fire element.

Fire symbolizes transformation,

Passion,

And the power to express our authentic selves.

It represents our relationship with pleasure,

Joy,

And intimacy.

The fire element invites us to feel connection and acceptance,

Allowing all that arises to be a part of our learning,

Worthwhile explorations on our journey towards wholeness,

A balance between uninhibited,

Unapologetic expression of our true selves,

And a loving,

Creative grace and appreciation for others.

During this practice,

We hold space to experience our emotions fully,

Knowing they are all part of our growth.

We dedicate the fruits of this practice to the universe,

All its beings,

And the collective wisdom.

May we rest in our inner knowing and feel peace within.

Begin by settling into a comfortable position,

Either lying on your back or in any posture where you can completely relax.

Allow your body to become still.

If you haven't already,

I invite you to close your eyes softly.

Feel the ground beneath you,

A constant,

Steady support.

Let the weight of your body sink fully into this foundation.

With each exhale,

Let go of what you no longer need,

Settling deeper into the present moment.

There is nothing to fix or do.

Simply allow yourself to be here,

Just as you are.

In this space,

You are free.

Free to follow your own rhythm,

To let this practice unfold in a way that feels most nourishing for you.

There are no demands,

No right or wrong,

Only the gentle invitation to rest and honor your body's natural wisdom.

Bring awareness to your face,

Letting every small expression dissolve.

Feel your eyes soften.

Spread the space between your eyes and across your forehead.

Let your cheeks fall heavy.

Allow your ears to drop.

Release the jaw.

Let your tongue settle in your mouth.

And as your face releases,

Notice how your entire body begins to echo the softening.

Take a full breath in,

Filling the lungs completely.

And with a sound,

Release out,

Whatever sound emerges.

Inhale,

And allow for an audible release.

And again,

Inhale,

And release with sound.

Continue your natural breathing rhythm.

Allow your awareness to shift from thought to feeling,

From doing to simply being.

Turn your awareness inward,

Toward the sanctuary within you.

A sacred space,

Untouched by external forces.

A place of unwavering safety,

Serenity,

And protection.

Feel yourself gently held here,

Surrounded by an infinite sense of ease and calm.

Trust that this sanctuary is always within you,

Ready to support you whenever you call upon it.

Take a moment to welcome an intention,

A positive resolve for this practice.

Stated in present tense,

In affirmative words,

This is an agreement you make with the highest form of yourself.

It can be in your native language,

Or it may appear as a deep sense,

A feeling.

It may sound like,

I love myself exactly as I am,

Or I listen to my heart.

So let your being receive the echo of your words,

Or your sense,

Or an image.

Let your intention resonate from your heart.

Once it comes to you,

Repeat it silently three times.

And letting that go.

We will now explore the body by rotating awareness throughout it.

As I guide you from point to point,

Remain in non-doing,

Silent awareness.

Let your attention follow my words,

Without thinking and doing,

Just bringing gentle,

Soft focus.

Bring your undivided attention to the center of your being.

Bring your undivided attention to your right foot,

Left foot,

Right leg,

Left leg,

Right hip,

Left hip,

Right lower back,

Left lower back,

Right middle back,

Left middle back,

Right shoulder blade,

Left shoulder blade,

Right arm,

Left arm,

Right palm of the hand,

Your whole spine,

The back of the neck,

The back of the head,

Right eyebrow,

The middle of the forehead,

Now bring your attention to the middle of the chest.

Become aware of the heart center.

Feel it open.

Now become aware of the body breathing.

The body breathing,

The flow of breath as sensation in the nostrils.

The chest gently rising as air flows in and releasing as air flows out.

No need to change anything.

The body breathing naturally and rhythmically.

In-breath,

Chest rising.

Out-breath,

Chest releasing.

The in-breath flowing in,

Chest rising.

The out-breath flowing out,

Chest releasing.

Chest releasing.

Breath flows in,

Breath flows out.

The body breathing naturally and rhythmically.

In-breath,

Chest rising.

Out-breath,

Chest releasing.

The body breathing naturally and rhythmically.

No need to change anything.

Witness the body breathing itself.

In this deep state of awareness,

Allow the following opposite experiences and any associations,

Any images,

Any memories or sensations to arise and dissolve.

Simply allowing all experiences to move through without preferences,

Labels or judgment.

As a witness to these experiences,

You release any identification with pre-programmed thoughts and feelings.

Bring your awareness to the sensation of warmth within the body.

As you locate sensations of warmth in the body,

Allow warmth to spread through your body,

Like a soft glow,

Radiating outward,

Building with each inhale.

Allow yourself to fully experience this warmth.

Notice how warmth feels.

Notice how warmth feels.

And letting that dissolve.

Now shift your awareness to a sensation of coolness in the body.

As you locate any sensations of coolness in the body,

Allow coolness to spread,

Perhaps imagining a cool breeze moving gently through your body,

Calming and soothing.

Let this coolness fill your body,

Building with each inhale.

Allow yourself to fully experience this coolness.

Notice how coolness feels.

And letting that dissolve.

Now return to the experience of warmth,

This time letting yourself experience any emotions it brings up.

Perhaps you feel a sense of love,

Joy,

Desire,

Or maybe a sense of courage as warmth often brings with the fire of determination and boldness.

Allow yourself to be with these sensations and emotions for a moment,

Letting them grow stronger,

Brighter.

Again,

Shifting focus,

This time returning to the experience of coolness,

This time letting yourself experience any emotions it brings up.

Perhaps you feel a sense of calmness or relief,

Like the feeling of release after a long day.

You may feel a sense of clarity or quiet stillness.

Allow yourself to be with these sensations and emotions for a moment,

Letting them grow.

Now let's pendulate between these two opposite states.

Bring back the feeling of warmth into the body,

Feeling warmth,

Perhaps bringing with it feelings of love,

Passion,

Fire,

Your inner spirit.

Embrace this sensation fully,

Allow it to expand and fill your entire being.

And now transition back to the feeling of coolness,

Soft,

Soothing,

Like a wave of calm washing over you.

Embrace this sensation fully,

Allowing it to expand and fill your entire being.

Now back to warmth,

Passion,

Excitement,

Perhaps even anger,

Which all can be sensed within as intensity that burns brightly.

And then again,

Bring back coolness,

Peace,

Clarity,

Perhaps even detachment or indifference,

Which can be sensed as a cooling off,

A stepping back.

Allow yourself with each breath to shift between these apparent opposites,

Like a pendulum swinging.

Allow yourself to experience the opposite sensations,

The natural rising and falling of sensations.

Warmth.

Coolness.

Warmth.

Notice how each complements the other,

How warmth needs coolness to be experienced,

And coolness balances warmth as feelings dissolve.

This dance between opposites is like the cycle of day and night,

The heat of the sun and the coolness of the moon,

Energies influencing the earth,

Contributing to the cycles of life.

Feel the integration of both within your body,

The warmth of the fire within,

Balanced by the coolness like a breath of air.

Together,

They bring harmony,

Balancing passion with peace,

And spontaneity with calm.

Bring your awareness to your third eye center,

And picture yourself on a beach at dusk,

A large bonfire,

And a gathering of others seated around it in a circle.

You walk closer to the fire,

And you notice that some of the gathered are familiar friends,

Others welcoming wanderers.

The fire burns brightly,

Its mesmerizing flames dancing joyfully in the gentle breeze.

Each person has brought something to share,

Gifts of creativity,

Wisdom,

Kindness,

Or joy,

Unique gifts cultivated from within as an offering to the fire.

Notice that as the fire burns,

It is fueled by the energy of everyone's presence and their offering,

And as you come closer,

You notice it burns even brighter,

Maybe sensing your presence as you join the circle.

You take your seat,

Feeling the fire's warmth radiating outwards,

Touching and inspiring everyone in the circle.

There's a sense of spontaneous joy,

Of abundance and celebration without any expectation or agenda.

This fire represents the energy manifested together,

The warmth,

Connection,

And shared love,

A mutual acceptance.

Sense the authentic presence of each soul,

Showing their true selves,

Each soul given a chance to shine and share their gifts as an offering to the fire.

They feel free to express themselves in their own unique way.

Their expression is their offering.

You feel compelled to stand at your place in front of the fire,

Sense deep within the offering you will give to the fire.

Place your offering,

Your essence,

Into the fire.

Watch as the flames grow even brighter.

Feel your presence,

Your presence,

Your presence,

Your presence,

Your presence,

Even brighter.

Feel your contribution adding to the collective warmth and joy.

Sit here for a while,

Feeling the exchange of energy,

The transformation,

The giving and receiving in perfect balance.

As the fire continues to burn brightly,

Sense the freedom and authenticity in yourself and those around you.

This is the rhythm of life,

Shared joy,

Being in harmony with your true self.

Feel the inner fire of your heart glowing softly.

Know that you can always access this light with know that you can always access this light within.

In this moment,

Recall your seed of intention,

This way of being born of your heart.

Let it enter and appear to you in whatever form it comes.

Place your intention within the fire burning in your heart space.

Feel its resonance in your heart,

Deeply rooted,

Nourished,

And energized by the fire within.

Gently bring your awareness back to your breath.

Feel your body resting comfortably,

The warmth of the fire still glowing within you.

Deepen your breath and bring small movements back into the body,

Gently wiggling your fingers and toes.

Stretch in any way that feels good to you.

Slowly open your eyes and reorient to the space around you.

Carry with you the sense of freedom,

Authenticity,

And balance that you have cultivated here.

Feel the warmth of your heart,

The spontaneity of your spirit,

And the contentment that flows from deep within.

Authentic expression,

Balanced with compassion for others in this world.

Know that this energy is always available to you,

Part of your inner nature.

You practice a radical form of self-care,
