Hello and welcome,
I'm so thankful that you're here with me tonight.
Come close now,
And let the night pull you in,
Like a quiet refuge,
A gentle invitation to rest.
I know you've been caring a lot,
The way your body has held tension,
The way your mind has been running,
But here in this moment,
You don't need to hold on to any of it,
So come away from the rush,
Away from the noise,
Away from the lists and the lingering thoughts,
And let yourself step into stillness now.
Take a deep breath in,
And let it fill the spaces within you,
The ones that have been tight,
The ones that have been closed off,
The ones that have been waiting for relief.
And as you exhale,
Let all that tension soften,
Let your shoulders drop,
Let your jaw unclench,
And let your body ease into comfort.
Now,
Imagine as if you are lowering yourself into a warm,
Soothing bath.
Feel the gentle water surround you,
And feel a soft sigh releasing from you.
Let the water hold you,
Let the heat seep into your skin,
Loosening the knots,
Unraveling the tightness,
Melting away all those pieces of exhaustion.
The day is dripping off of you now,
With water beating down your arms and steam rising into the air.
Every worry,
Every thought,
Every emotion,
All of it is dissolving,
All of it is being carried away.
Let yourself sink deeper,
Letting the warmth work its way through you,
Through the soles of your feet,
Through the curve of your spine,
Through your chest,
Your arms,
Your hands,
Until all of you is softened,
Until all of you is at ease.
You are allowed to be here.
You are allowed to stop pushing.
You are allowed to rest.
Breathe in the warmth.
Breathe in the deep,
Slow knowing that you are home.
Bathe in the stillness of the night.
Let sleep come to you now.
Let it cradle you and hold you,
And rock you into deep rest.
Namaste,
Beautiful.
