So let yourself settle,
Finding comfort within your body and calm within your mind.
If your mind feels busy,
Become aware of your breathing and imagine those thoughts riding the waves of your exhale and dissolving as they exit your body.
Breathe out the to-do's.
Breathe out the worries.
Breathe out the plans.
And then relax even deeper into this moment.
Now see if you can imagine something you desire.
It may be an object,
A way of being,
Or a feeling.
Whatever it is,
Imagine what you want instead of what you don't want.
For example,
Imagine a full bank account rather than the pain of not enough money.
Imagine yourself in optimal health instead of suffering from sickness.
Breathing into focus this desire and give yourself a moment to sit with it,
Using all your senses to be present to it.
