This is a cleansing breath exercise intended to help you wash away stress, anxiety and tension. A simple and short practice to cultivate awareness of your breath and body's sensations, bringing about a powerful sense of presence and experience of the now.

Transcript

Start by settling into a comfortable position.

You can allow your eyes to close or keep them open with a softened gaze.

Notice how your physical body is doing today.

Do a quick scan from the top of your head down to your toes.

See checking in,

Taking stock.

Which areas feel more relaxed,

More comfortable?

Now allow yourself to take a couple of breaths to settle.

Follow the natural rhythm of your breath as you slowly arrive into full body presence.

And now together let's take three cleansing breaths.

Take a big inhale through the nose.

Gently open the mouth and exhale it out.

One more time inhaling together.

Open the mouth and sigh it out.

And now one final time inhaling.

And loud sigh out.

Let your next breath travel in.

Breathing in normally for a couple more breaths on your own.

Practice coming home to your breath.

Paying attention to its rhythm.

Allowing yourself to be completely with your breath as it flows in and flows out.

Stay here for as long as you need.
