
Connect With Your Inner Wisdom

This meditation will help you to feel centered and grounded so that you can connect with the three brains in the body β the intuitive gut brain; the heart brain and the intellectual brain. Tap into your inner wisdom and discover the answers that are right for you.
Transcript
Music The focus of this meditation is to help you become more grounded and centered in your body so that you'll easily be able to access your own innate wisdom.
In this meditation we'll focus on balancing the three brains in your body.
The intuitive or gut brain,
The heart brain and the intellectual brain.
Allow your body to settle into a comfortable seated position now.
With your spine aligned and your posture upright but relaxed.
Music Holding just a small amount of alertness in the body,
Close your eyes and bring your awareness inward.
Music Become aware of any of the physical sensations and notice the emotions you feel.
Just observing what's going on in your body and your mind.
Music Do your best to allow yourself to be with whatever you're experiencing.
Don't try to change anything but just pay attention for now.
Music And bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice the breath as it passes across the top lip.
And become aware of the sensation of breathing as the breath moves in and out of the lungs.
Music Become aware of the gentle rise and fall of your belly.
As you begin to relax the breath will naturally become deeper and slower.
Just allow this to happen effortlessly.
You may notice as we go through the meditation that you become distracted by a train of thought.
Try not to struggle with this.
When you notice that your mind has wandered just gently guide your awareness back to my voice.
As we tune into each of the centers in the body trust that you'll find your way to the answers you need.
There's no need to try too hard.
Just allow the process to unfold.
Imagine now that your next in breath begins right at the base of your spine and as you breathe in watch the path of that breath moving up like an elevator.
Up through the body.
All the way to the top of the head.
And as you breathe out watch the breath fall down the same path.
Gently rising and falling.
The in breath.
The out breath.
And as the breath follows the path from the base of the spine up through the belly through the heart and out beyond the top of the head.
Imagine you begin to access each of these centers.
As you breathe in this calming energy.
Deep into your lungs.
Just watching the breath as it passes up through the center of the body.
Beginning to notice any of the sensations you feel.
You may find that you're inclined to adjust your posture slightly.
As you become more aware of the physical experience of becoming centered.
Now bring your attention fully into the area around your navel.
Pause here and pay attention to the feeling tone of this area.
You might become aware of a color that is present.
Or maybe you're aware of sensations.
Whatever you notice just allow it to be there and just tune in.
Be aware.
And doing your best to keep your focus solely on this belly area.
Ask yourself these questions.
What is it I need most right now?
And what's in my highest good?
And what do I need to let go of?
Just allow the answers to rise in their own time.
Tuning into this intuitive brain.
If nothing comes to mind immediately allow that to be your experience.
Let yourself feel peaceful and relaxed as you focus on this area.
Trusting that when the time is right the answers will appear.
What is it I need most right now?
And what's in my highest good?
And what do I need to let go of?
Now move your attention to the heart area.
And notice any of the sensations you feel in this area.
What are the feelings that you're most aware of?
Once again trusting that the answers will come in their own time and asking yourself these questions.
What is it I need most right now?
And what's in my highest good?
And what do I need to let go of?
What is it I need most right now?
And what's in my highest good?
And what do I need to let go of?
And finally take your attention to the area at the top of your head.
The center of knowledge and wisdom.
Imagination and visualization.
Imagine you can open up the boundaries of your own mind and connect with divine wisdom.
That's completely limitless.
Imagine there are no boundaries to the wisdom.
And as you connect with this knowledge trust that you're able to see everything that's in your highest good.
Notice any colors,
Any feeling tones.
Continue to focus your attention on the sensations that are present.
And remind yourself that all the answers are right here.
What is it I need most right now?
And what's in my highest good?
And what do I need to let go of?
Give yourself time to let the answers rise to the surface.
And trust in your intuitive wisdom.
What is it I need most right now?
And what's in my highest good?
And what do I need to let go of?
Tuning back into the breath now.
Letting the breath rise from the base of the spine all the way up to the top of the head.
And allowing yourself in this final moment of meditation to be guided again to whatever you need.
Feel your feet making contact with the floor now as you begin to bring your awareness back into the room.
Bringing some small movements into your fingers and toes.
And in your own time gently opening your eyes.
