This meditation is good for grounding,
Cleansing,
Protection,
And just enjoying life,
Bouncing around and having fun.
Close your eyes down and take some slow,
Deep breaths.
Now imagine around you there is a bubble.
This can be any size and have any outer layer to it you wish.
It may be glass,
It may be like a giant soap bubble,
A multicoloured delicate sphere,
Or it may be like a shield of eggshell or something more solid.
It is entirely as you see and feel it to be.
The bubble is surrounding you,
Protecting you and holding you safe and secure within its protective outer layer.
Now I invite you to open a small hole at the top of your bubble and allow a pillar of white light down through this hole.
As this light travels down through your bubble and around you,
Surrounding you,
Swirling gently around you,
You can feel its beautiful energy cleansing you.
The light and energy flow freely downwards and out of your base,
Your feet and the base of your spine into Mother Earth.
Cleansing your bubble and taking away any heaviness,
Darkness,
Sadness,
Tiredness,
Or anything else that you no longer need.
It is all being cleansed away.
Mother Earth will take this energy and anything with it that you no longer require and cleanse it.
Just like the transfer of energy,
Nutrients and light that exchange between plants and the Earth.
At this point,
With your bubble cleansed and feeling lighter and brighter,
You may now want to expand your bubble.
You may feel that the surface of your bubble has changed.
It may have gone from a solid outer shell to glass or water or even something more ethereal.
Sometimes it is nice to imagine your bubble as a huge delicate dandelion seed head,
Floating along,
Drifting in the breeze,
Gently gliding on no particular course.
Just being.
Your bubble can be as large or as small as you wish.
It may hold you to this room or it may expand so big as to float around with you in it,
As far and as wide as your imagination takes you.
After you have travelled as far as you wish in your bubble,
It is time to settle back down.
Come back to the room,
Your chair,
Your cushion.
Feel the ground beneath you and take some slow,
Deep breaths.
And when you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
