May this meditation bring you comfort in your grave.

Take yourself to a place of safety now,

Sitting or lying down,

And let your body relax.

Become aware of the rhythm of your breath.

And with every out-breath,

Breathe out tension.

And with every in-breath,

Bring in soothing,

Comforting relaxation.

Your body knows how to relax as you adjust your muscles,

Your spine.

And just follow the rhythm of your breathing,

Flowing naturally like the waves of the ocean.

Every out-breath can be a letting go,

Breathing out sadness,

Heaviness,

Letting go of thoughts,

Relaxing the muscles,

And breathing in comfort and peace.

Into every single cell,

Wherever you notice tension,

Just breathe into those muscles and let go.

A cascade of relaxing energy washing over you.

Soothing,

Healing relaxation.

Direct your breath along your spine,

Releasing tension,

Breathing out,

Letting go.

Going deeper into relaxation,

Simply following the rhythm,

The way you would follow the flow of a river.

Just letting go.

Into the stillness.

Into the quiet.

Breathing in peace,

Comfort,

And soothing relaxation.

Letting the body rest.

And also your emotions,

Your mind.

Relaxing,

Letting go.

As the soothing energy flows over and through you.

Deep relaxation.

Just simply disappear into the background.

As you focus on your breath,

On the unfolding relaxation,

And the deep comfort that emerges from within.

As body and mind continue to relax,

Envision now a place of safety and comfort.

A place that soothes you and brings you peace.

It could be a place in nature,

A church or a temple,

Or the comfort of your own bed.

Whatever has you relaxing deeply and allows body and mind to rest fully.

And as you feel the soothing,

Healing energy of this place,

Let yourself fill with a deeply nurturing feeling.

Maybe it is like a light flowing into the body,

Bringing warmth,

Nurturing,

Profound relaxation.

The peace of this place refuels and relaxes you.

To this,

Your heart,

Your soul and your spirit.

Imagine a radiant,

Luminous light that flows into your body now.

Soothes all the places within that have been hurting.

Releases the pain and the sorrow.

Flowing throughout the body into the area of your heart.

A beautiful,

Nurturing,

Shining light.

Filling the area of your heart,

Nurturing you deeply.

And also surround yourself with this glow,

With this healing energy.

Surround yourself with safety as if angel wings are all around you.

The feathery touch of their wings keeping you safe,

Relaxed and at peace.

Because this glowing light and profound love flow through you and around you and deep peace surrounds you.

And from this place of safety and love,

Now envision your loved one who has passed.

Let yourself connect with them.

And feel the love that is present within you.

If there is anything you wish to express,

Something you wish you would have said to them.

You can voice these words now from your heart to theirs.

Express your deepest thoughts.

Feelings.

All you wanted to share with this person.

Let yourself find completion in this moment in your own way.

Express your thoughts and feelings.

As you feel their presence.

And they may also have a message for you and you can open your heart to receive.

To connect with them.

And if you wish to express your gratitude,

You can do so now.

Wishing them well on their journey and what is next for their spirit.

A kingdom of light,

Of love,

With peace.

And feel the blessings that are being bestowed on you from your loved one.

From life itself.

Let your heart be comforted.

Trusting that your loved one is on their journey now.

And that you will continue to feel the connection,

The peace and the love.

That will be yours forever.

The precious memories you share.

And the love that you have known with them.

And as you connect with your breath again.

Know that this feeling of inner comfort and soothing will continue long after this moment is over.

That a feeling of peace and comfort continues to unfold.

And that the connection with your loved one continues.

In the coming days and weeks.

That sense of peace and inner strength of nurturing soothing energy unfolds from within.

And as you gently bring yourself back to this day and time of day.

You continue to feel the relaxation and soothing energy of this place.

And as you return gently,

You reorient yourself to the day and time of day.

And when you're fully back,

You feel refreshed and reenergized.

I absolutely loved this. It was beautiful and so soothing. The only thing I didn't like was how much she talked during the time I was supposed to be communicating with my loved one. It was really distracting and made it a little difficult to concentrate and stay focused. Other than that though, I loved it.
