Good morning.
Thank you for being with me as we start the day together.
In this meditation,
We are going to welcome peace in ourselves and send out peace to those around us and the world.
Finding your inner peace and starting the day grounded in a good space will shift what comes throughout the day.
Let's get started.
Breathing is natural.
Let your breath find its own rhythm as you inhale and exhale.
When you notice your breath quickening on your awakening to this new day,
Slow it down.
Open yourself and allow.
Deep breaths in and out.
As you breathe,
Imagine you are filling your belly,
Deepening into your body.
If your shoulders rise or become tense,
Place your awareness there and try to let go.
Take a deep breath in.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Now hold for the count of four.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
And now release.
Release all the air.

Two,
Three,
Four.
Continue breathing like this as we move through this exercise together.
Breathing in,
Mindfulness the opportunity to be fully present.
Exhaling your breath.
Yes,
Being connected to your breath and allowing any thoughts or emotions to glide by easily with no attachments.
Breathing in,
You are alive and well in this moment.
Exhaling,
Breathing,
Filling your body and releasing tension.
Breathing in,
Knowing that being part of peace in the world is finding your own peace within yourself.
Exhaling,
No judgment.
Acceptance of now.
What is?
Breathing in,
May every breath give you the peace that you are longing for.
Exhaling,
Releasing the energy of tension and stress.
Worries you may already have as you begin this morning.
Breathing in,
Letting go actually opens to more,
Not less.
Exhaling,
Releasing your breath,
Emptying your vessel.
Breathing in,
Opening your heart to love,
Peace,
And happiness that has been buried so deep within you for too long.
Exhaling,
Feel your mind awaken and rest at the same time.
Breathing in,
You are choosing this moment to bring out your love,
Your peace,
Your happiness as you are called to be a light in the world.
Exhaling,
Focus on the feeling of your breath,
Readying yourself to share your love and light with all those you come in contact with today.
Now that your mind is opening,
Yes,
Good.
Inhaling one last time together,
You are powerful,
Healthy,
And whole.
Exhaling into a new and beautiful day as you have opened your mind and heart.
Raise your hands into the air in front of you,
Palms out to the world,
And say the following aloud and within you.
I experience a sense of peace with every breath I take.
I let go of fear now and embrace peace within me.
I know the way of peace in times that feel overwhelming.
I send love and light to every child and adult who is searching for this peace right now.
