Good morning.
This is Karen Jones.
And I'm here to help you greet the morning.
You can do this meditation sitting or walking.
I will speak it in the first person.
I greet the morning.
I greet the sun,
Which gives us light and life unconditionally.
I greet this day,
This new day,
Full of experiences.
I greet the world.
As I look around me,
The sun gives me warmth.
The clouds shade and rain.
The sky a glimpse of the infinite.
I feel the wind the breeze on my face.
I hear the song of birds of people greeting one another.
I smell the flowers and the scent of coffee on the air.
I see the sun,
The trees,
The building.
I am deeply grateful for another day to experience love,
To experience light and warmth,
To experience life.
I thank the sun for the example of unconditional love,
Spreading light,
Warmth,
Love to me,
To everyone without conditions.
I greet the earth,
The rain,
The lakes,
The ocean,
The rivers.
I greet the mountains,
The hills,
The plains.
I greet the city,
Village,
The farm.
I greet the animals,
The plants,
The birds.
I greet those people I know and those I don't know.
I allow my heart to open.
Deeply grateful for this day,
For this world,
For this opportunity to experience life for the sun and all those people in my life.
