My name is Karen Jones and I'm an energy healer,
A long time meditator.
I'm a mentor for women in feminine power and embodiment.
And I love sharing meditations that help you to thrive.
This meditation I'm sharing as a morning routine to help you to center in yourself and to fill yourself up with gratitude,
To really be so replete.
And then move into your day from this very loving,
Stable,
Wonderful stance.
So let us begin.
I invite you to sit with your feet flat on the floor.
Let your arms rest gently on your thighs.
And bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice that as you breathe in,
Your chest and your belly both fill.
And as you breathe out,
As you exhale,
They release.
As you breathe in,
Imagine you are breathing in all of your good.
And as you breathe out,
You are releasing all that no longer serves you at this time.
Letting your awareness drop further now into your hips and pelvis,
Into your thighs,
Your knees,
Your lower legs and your feet.
And further letting your awareness drop down into the center of the earth.
This is your connection to the earth,
Your physicality,
Your body deeply connected and nourished by this connection to the earth.
And now awareness back in your hips and pelvis.
All of this awareness helps you to center in your body.
And next,
Let us fill ourselves up.
So keeping part of your awareness in your hips and pelvis,
Now part in your heart and bring to mind something that makes your heart smile.
This sensation of love and loving kindness.
Perhaps it's your loved one.
Perhaps your dog or your cat.
Perhaps it was the sky this morning at sunrise.
Whatever it is,
Something that makes your heart smile.
And direct this love,
This loving kindness to you.
Imagine you're an empty glass and you are filling yourself up with loving kindness.
And when your mind wanders,
Bring it back to your awareness in your heart.
And to something that makes your heart smile.
Continue filling yourself up with love and loving kindness.
And once you feel full of love to overflowing,
Now bring to mind an experience where you felt deep gratitude or appreciation.
Maybe someone gave you something or helped you with something.
Made a meal for you.
Supported you when you needed support.
Or maybe you look outside and you are so grateful for this day.
Bringing the experience,
The feeling experience of gratitude and appreciation.
Really feel it deeply.
And now direct that feeling experience of gratitude towards your body.
Every part of your body.
So grateful for your feet,
Your stomach,
Your hands.
So grateful for your eyes,
Your brain.
The fact that you are alive in this moment.
Feel this deep gratitude towards this.
Gratitude towards your heart that you can feel.
To your thoughts.
That you can think thoughts that are productive and uplifting with your own choice.
And your spirit,
Your soul,
Your energy,
Gratitude.
And as with love,
We are filling ourselves up with gratitude.
That feeling experience of gratitude.
Imagine you're a cup and it's just getting more and more full until look,
It is overflowing.
So you can say,
I am overflowing with gratitude.
Sit in this energy as long as you need to make sure you are full.
Because you want to go into your day full of loving kindness,
Full of gratitude and from your abundance,
The overflowingness.
From that you can extend to others.
All the people you are going to meet in person,
On air,
Through your thoughts.
Give out of your abundance.
And when you're ready,
I invite you to wiggle your toes,
Your fingers.
Gently open your eyes.
Putting your hands in prayer position.
So grateful to yourself for being here and setting your day.
