Hi there,

Welcome to this safe space where we will be exploring how to come back home to ourselves.

Probably lately you are feeling a bit lost or unsure of who you are these days and this practice simply invites you to tune into your inner self and so in this visualization we call it the seed of life.

When you're ready to begin you can find a comfortable space for you to either lie down or sit on.

So we'll go ahead and lengthen our spine,

Allow the eyes to close and invite a softness into this whole experience.

Take this moment to deepen the breath as you inhale through the nose.

You can gently open up the mouth as you exhale fully.

Remember that there's no need to rush this whole process of coming back home to ourselves.

Take as much time as you need to here right now to be fully present.

As you feel your whole body fully supported by the ground beneath you,

Really feel the gravity,

Its pull towards the earth.

Allow yourself to notice any sounds that might be in this place that you're in,

Allowing them all to be a part of your journey to coming back home to yourself.

Viewed not as distractions but simply part of this whole ecosystem,

A part of your practice.

As we start our meditation,

I'd like you to imagine that you are a small seed and the seed is planted down on the ground.

But imagine how deep are you on the soil?

Are you far away from the surface?

Or do you imagine yourself closer to the grass,

The sky?

Visualize your distance from the ground and up.

And stay with the feeling,

Stay with the moment of being a seed.

Imagine how it feels to be on the ground.

It's just like we're back to our mother's wombs.

Is it a feeling of being relaxed?

To be still?

And what does that feel like to be completely still?

What does it feel like to be in the space where you are not seen above the surface?

Instead you are deeply grounded,

One with the earth.

As you stay with this feeling,

Begin to notice subtle shifts,

Subtle movements happening.

You start to notice that you are growing bit by bit.

Starting to reach out and expand.

Noticing your presence expand.

And what comes out first for you?

Is it the roots?

Or is it a stem shooting up to the sky?

Notice what comes out first.

And does it come out in a rush or do you take your time spreading your presence and growing?

Do you take your time in shooting out towards the surface?

And what does that feel like?

What does your pace of growth feel like?

Do you have moments when you feel like you want to shoot up faster?

Or are there moments when you feel like you need to slow down?

Stay with the feeling.

And keep imagining that you are spreading your presence.

Whether it's starting from the roots or from your stem.

Imagine yourself growing bit by bit.

Now you start to reach above the surface getting a peek of what is out there.

What lies beyond the soil and the ground that you were planted in.

You start to feel a whiff of air.

Maybe a bit of sunlight feeling the warmth.

Maybe you start to hear different sounds in this space that you are currently discovering.

The same place but a different perspective.

A different view.

A different peak of what lies ahead.

You continue to grow,

Stretching out.

Maybe it's a trunk or if you imagine yourself as a plant,

Maybe it's a stem.

Whatever you imagine yourself to be growing.

Stay with that visualization.

Or maybe you are unsure yet of what you are going to be.

Whether it's a plant or a trunk,

A tree.

Take your time here to imagine what you can be.

And now taking in all these different elements in your environment.

There is the sun,

A bit of water through a sprinkle of rain.

I'm feeling the air.

I'm feeling the soil that you were in.

All of these elements working together to help you grow.

Now slowly imagine yourself growing a bit more.

Can you see yourself with fruits or with flowers?

Or maybe just leaves?

Whatever it is,

Stay without feeling of being able to bear something beautiful within you.

And as the days go by,

Notice how you're still in the same spot.

That there's this feeling of quiet and stillness within you.

And yet there is growth.

And yet you blossom.

Now as you continue to grow,

Begin to survey also the surroundings that you're in.

Are you in a small space?

Or are you in a wide field?

A wide area?

Is there anything else that is around you?

Or are you simply alone?

Being at your own pace,

At your own comfort?

On your own?

Or are there others with you,

Growing,

Blossoming?

Wherever you are,

Stay with the feeling.

How does it feel like to be here?

To be in this space?

Maybe checking in with your thoughts or emotions?

Do you like this place that you're in?

And what is your view of others,

If there are other plants or other trees in the area?

Maybe other beings,

Creatures?

What is your relationship with them?

What is the energy exchange like?

How do you benefit from these other creatures around you?

And how do they benefit from your own presence?

Stay with the thought.

Stay with the visualization of the exchange.

And notice what it feels like to be simply present,

Yet able to give and receive.

Notice the sounds or the quiet.

Notice the feelings that may arise.

Now,

Begin to take a wider view,

Maybe a bird's eye view of where you are at this moment.

How much have you grown?

And the things that are surrounding you,

This whole ecosystem.

Maybe asking if you are happy in this place,

If you are happy with your growth,

If you are happy with what you've become,

What you've grown into.

Asking yourself,

How are you nourished from the ground up?

And checking in with the roots,

The stem,

Or the branches,

Or the leaves,

Or the fruits,

Or the flowers.

Whatever you imagine yourself as right now.

Are you completely nourished?

If the answer is yes,

What are the things that contributed to this feeling of fulfillment of nourishment?

And if the answer is not quite or no,

What could help you grow and blossom somewhere?

Stay with the feeling,

Stay with the thought.

Take a deep breath in,

And sigh it out.

With every breath in,

There is this constant exchange of life from you and from others that are around you.

Continue to take in the fresh air,

And sigh out anything that you might not need anymore.

Come back to this place that you're in.

In our visualization for today,

We explored ourselves starting as a seed,

And then coming out and growing into something else.

See what kind of feelings,

What kind of images or words became prominent to you.

And maybe you can start to grab a piece of paper,

A pen or coloring materials,

And do this art journaling therapy session.

So you can draw out your journey from a seed to a tree or a plant.

Maybe even draw in whatever you saw around you,

If there were other creatures,

And what kind of exchange you were having with each other.

You can also place in the journal words that were prominent,

What struck out to you during this journey of coming back home to yourself,

Of grounding.

Now in life,

We often have a tendency to compare ourselves to others around us.

But notice when you were growing,

If you were doing the same,

There is a quote that says something about a flower does not compare itself to the other flowers around it.

It simply blossoms,

It simply grows.

And is it the same for you?

Take a moment to let that marinate.

The same goes with how we treat our body,

The body as a garden.

Are we taking time to nourish our minds,

Our soul,

Our body,

Our heart in more ways than one?

Do we know the root of our problems?

Or are we focusing on the branches that may seem like the main problem,

But are actually symptoms of our disease and disease?

So I hope that this session was meaningful for you and I hope that you were able to come back home to yourself.

I hope to practice with you soon again.

Have a great day and Namaste.
