Welcome to today's session.
Settle into a comfortable position and allow yourself to slowly welcome relaxation.
This is your time to be calm and centered.
So gently turn your awareness to your breathing.
Notice the in and out.
Just sit with it for a moment without trying to change anything.
Just allow yourself to be present in this moment.
If you find yourself getting distracted,
Simply notice it and then when you're ready,
Direct your attention back to your breath.
And now I'd like you to get ready for a journey through a garden.
Bring up an image of beautiful lush trees and flowers.
There's different colors everywhere.
All shades of green,
Purple,
Yellow and red.
And as you slowly walk through this garden,
It feels almost magical.
There's a sense of peace and serenity and freedom.
Your worries for the week melt from your awareness.
And your centered,
Calm and present self emerges.
You notice all the colors around you and the different kinds of flowers and their sweet aroma.
There's butterflies and birds singing in the distance.
And you hear the sound of water flowing in the distance.
You look around and notice a gentle stream.
And so you begin to walk towards it.
As you walk,
You feel the soft grass on your feet.
And you make your way to the bank of the stream.
And so you sit with your back against a tree.
You feel the bark and the tree's strength as you lean against it.
And then you lean down and brush your fingertips across the surface of the water and feel the cool water flow.
And now try to imagine that your thoughts are like leaves floating on the surface of the stream.
Whenever you notice a new thought,
Just observe it and let it float away down the stream.
With each new thought,
Just watch it float away and pass you by.
Just notice it.
Let the flow of the stream calm you and bring you peace for the day.
Just observing and noticing your thoughts and letting them be and letting them pass.
And so you can stay here as long as you'd like.
Listening to the soothing sounds of the water and the comfort of the lush garden.
Let the flow of the stream calm you and bring you peace for the day.
