Hello and welcome to this guided meditation for practicing self-care during a divorce,

Separation,

Or breakup.

My name is Julie Ila Grace,

And I am honored to be your meditation guide today.

In this practice,

You will not only be practicing self-care by giving yourself this meditative space,

But you will also be opening yourself up to continued healing practices as you move forward on this journey.

Start by finding a quiet,

Comfortable place to either sit or lie down.

Then close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

Imagine that with every inhale,

You are bringing a sense of calm and peace into your body and into your mind.

And with every exhale,

You are releasing stress and tension.

When you're ready,

Allow your natural breath to take over again.

Begin to notice where your body is currently meeting the ground.

Feel where it's pressing down and where it's rising away.

Notice what it's like from one side to the other.

And also notice if there is a sense of the energetic connection you have to the earth.

Feel where your clothing meets your skin and notice the different textures of fabric.

Become aware of anything there is to become aware of within your body right now.

Where are you warm?

Where are you cool?

Are there places in your body that feel energetically open and flowing?

Are there places that feel blocked or disconnected?

Just become aware without any judgment.

Imagine your eyelids now becoming so heavy that it is as if they can no longer even open.

Feel your body also becoming heavier and heavier.

And as it does,

Feel as if the earth is rising up to support you,

To hold you,

To offer you a safe and inviting space to rest.

In every moment,

You are connected to this earth simply by breathing.

Feel that energetic connection deepening now.

Imagine that there is an energetic highway between you and the planet.

Feel that grounding,

Supportive energy meeting your body and likewise,

Feel that you are opening up to connect with the earth.

Visualize your mind,

Body,

And essence all aligning as you relax more and more.

And in this state of connection,

See yourself like a beautiful,

Fertile landscape like a beautiful,

Fertile landscape full of possibilities for nurturing tenderness and growth.

Imagine that you and the earth are in a beautiful,

Energetic,

Light-filled dance.

Imagine that you are seamlessly in flow,

That you are a garden,

That you are a river,

That you are fully connected into this fabric of the universe.

As an open source of connection and light,

Imagine drawing into yourself the seeds that you would like to plant for your journey moving forward.

Visualize your light-filled hands planting seeds for everything that you need.

Seeds for love,

Joy,

Bliss,

Patience,

Forgiveness,

And anything else that resonates for you.

Feel yourself energetically welcoming the roots of these intentions.

Imagine the blossoms already sprouting.

Feel as if the earth is smiling as you receive these gifts.

Take a few moments now to plant,

Explore,

And even dance in this space.

In this dance with the planet,

Draw into your awareness anything that you would like to energetically offer the earth now.

Maybe that is an energy of gratitude,

Love,

Or healing.

See yourself offering this energy and be in that deep state of connection.

Continuing in this supported,

Connected state,

Imagine the earth also supporting you now as you begin to set boundaries.

A boundary need not be cruel or ugly.

See boundaries as supportive of your growth,

Like the gentle guards that protect saplings from the elements so that they can develop into strong,

Sturdy trees.

In the same way that you planted your seeds for nourishment,

Visualize the important boundaries that will protect you and those seeds on this journey.

If specific boundaries come into your awareness,

Maybe boundaries you need to set with other people or even with yourself,

Feel them energetically embedding.

Remember,

These boundaries are just as beautiful as the seeds that you planted,

And they are equally important.

Take the next few minutes now to visualize this fertile,

Energetic space where you are a bright garden connected to the very fabric of existence.

Dance,

Explore,

Plant more seeds,

Place more boundaries.

Be in this space in any way that you need.

Start to come back now,

Feeling your body still deeply connected to the ground below.

Know that you are always a connected being within this constellation of life,

And know that you can always come back to this nurturing any time that you need.

Begin to breathe deeply again,

And feel the life force flooding your body.

What an incredible and miraculous being you are.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.
