This morning meditation supports you to step into your energy, to keep your focus throughout your day, to connect to your body as well as to your breath and you will develop a clear vision of how you want to deal with everything which is on your schedule today. You will feel alert and connected to your energy right in the morning and I show you a tool how to use your body as a companion and teacher to stay connected during the day. Enjoy!

Hello and welcome to your morning meditation.

This meditation will support you to step into your energy,

To keep your focus through the day,

To connect to your body and to your breath and to develop a clear vision of your day.

You're going to be fresh,

Awake and focused if you practice regularly.

Please practice this meditation in an upright sitting position.

Pull your shoulders up and roll them backwards.

Let your spine be straight.

Your chin slightly towards your chest.

And try to find this posture which is relaxed and at the same time alert.

Take a couple of deep breaths.

Let them be this very first conscious breath of this new,

This fresh day.

Become aware of this new energy you take in with each breath.

You nourish your body,

You nourish your mind with this conscious breathing.

Now become aware of your body,

Of your body which is going to serve you through this day.

And make a promise towards this body.

Promise this body that you're going to listen to your body.

Promise your body to keep the focus of all the signs this body might want to show you.

Promise that you're going to listen,

That you're going to pause and that you're going to act on this great advice your body is going to have for you throughout the day.

Connect to your breath.

Breathe in.

And let the breath really go through your whole body with your out breath.

Fill all the body,

Fill your head,

Fill your shoulders,

Your arms,

Your hands,

Your chest,

Your belly,

Your lower back,

Your bum,

Your legs,

Your knees,

Your feet.

With this breath,

Fill your body with this energy.

Breathe in and with your out breath,

Feel this energy really flow through your body.

And now I want you to create some focus for your day.

Envision the things which are on your schedule for the upcoming hours.

Don't dive in the content.

Just envision them roughly.

And then I want you to imagine with what kind of focus,

With what kind of energy,

With what kind of quality would you like to address what is ahead,

What is on your schedule.

How would you like to be today?

How would you like to take part in this life today?

If you can look to your day backwards at the end of the day,

With what quality during this day would you be able to say,

Yes,

I'm proud of myself that I managed it this way.

I'm proud of myself that I stepped into this energy in the morning,

Which gave me strength,

Which gave me focus,

Which gave me this awareness and this supportive quality through my day.

Find a word for yourself.

Maybe you want to be cool,

Maybe you want to be caring,

Maybe you want to be very alert,

Maybe you want to be fast,

Maybe you want to be slow.

Maybe you want to be thankful or maybe you want to be creative.

Find this quality which can serve you best today and then connect to this word and connect especially to your body.

Connect to what this word does with your body and find a posture which expresses the meaning of this word.

Be a little bit playful.

Really find this posture which expresses your creativity or your calmness or your alertness or your care.

Find a posture for your body so that your body can remember what you want to be like today.

And then stay in this posture for a few moments.

Really let it sink in your personality.

Throughout this day I want you to remember this posture and remember your word.

Maybe right after this meditation you write down this word somewhere on your mobile phone or on a post-it which you stick on your computer.

To really remember what you want to be today,

Which quality you want to bring in your day.

And to finish this meditation please connect with your breath again,

Connect with your posture and focus a few moments on this breathing in silence.

And then thank yourself for having shown up today to this meditation.

And I wish you a wonderful and energetic great day.
