Welcome to this guided session designed to prepare your mind and body for a restful night of sleep through mindfulness and affirmations.

Find a comfortable position in your bed that allows you to feel at ease.

Gently close your eyes,

Taking a moment to connect deeply with your body.

Take a few deep breaths,

Inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth,

Releasing any tension or discomfort with each breath.

Feel the weight of your body sinking into the bed,

Becoming more and more relaxed with each exhale.

Now,

Let your breath return to its natural rhythm.

Shift your attention inward and observe your thoughts and emotions without judgment.

Are there any worries or anxieties lingering from the day?

Allow them to surface,

Acknowledging them with compassion and understanding.

As you continue to relax,

Listen to the following affirmations.

Let them resonate within you,

Embracing their truth and allowing them to guide you towards a peaceful sleep.

I am at peace with myself and the world around me.

I surrender to this moment,

Letting go of the day's challenges.

I trust in the natural rhythm of my body to guide me into restful sleep.

My mind is calm and my thoughts are gentle.

I release all tension,

Allowing my body to unwind completely.

I am safe,

Protected,

And enveloped in tranquility.

Sleep comes to me effortlessly and naturally.

I am grateful for this time to rest and rejuvenate.

I embrace the silence and stillness of the night.

I am deserving of a peaceful and restorative sleep.

I welcome dreams that nourish my soul and bring me joy.

I drift into sleep with ease,

Letting go of all resistance.

Each night I surrender to the healing power of sleep.

My bedroom is a sanctuary of peace and relaxation.

I am deeply relaxed,

Ready to embrace sleep.

I let go of the day's worries,

Embracing the peace of the night.

I am open to the healing energy of sleep,

Restoring my mind,

Body,

And spirit.

Allow these affirmations to resonate within you,

Embracing their soothing energy.

Take a few moments to let these words sink in,

Wrapping yourself in their comforting embrace.

You deserve a night of deep restorative sleep.

Make any final adjustments to your posture and surrender yourself to the embrace of sleep.

May your night be filled with peace,

Comfort,

And rejuvenating rest.

Good night.

These shorter meditations are perfect for me and my racing thoughts due to severe PTSD. I'm learning to quiet the mind one day at a time and this is a good one to keep in the toolbox. Very soothing guided meditation. Thank you.
