Hey there,
Spencer Jones here and I would like to welcome you to today's meditation.
And today's meditation is all about setting positive intentions.
Let's help you live your life to the max to get the most out of it.
And one of the ways I do that is by setting intentions.
So real quick before we jump into our meditation,
I just want to let you know what intentions are because many people get them confused.
Intentions are not goals.
Goals are what we do.
You know,
Doing a handstand,
Writing a paper,
Finishing a project.
Those are what we do.
And intention is how we do it.
So an intention would be peaceful,
Joyfully,
Happy,
Calmly,
Focused,
Things like that.
So remember a goal is what you do while an intention is how you do it.
So let's jump into today's meditation first by rolling our shoulders back.
Many times we hold tension in our shoulders and stress and let's let it go before we meditate.
Roll them forward,
Shake them out.
There you go.
Nice.
And let your shoulders drop.
Let your head come down so your chin is down by your chest.
Roll your head to the right side.
Roll it to the left.
Back to the right.
Left.
Then all the way around one time.
Careful in the back.
Gentle.
And then raise your head back up.
Find a position that is comfortable for you,
Whatever that is.
Seated,
Standing,
Laying down,
Whatever.
Let your hands and arms rest where they are comfortable.
Then close your eyes.
Start to breathe in through your nose and out through your nose or mouth.
Your choice.
Bringing your mind's focus to your breath.
Being aware of the sensations you feel as you inhale and you exhale.
Let your body relax.
Your mind just be open and be aware.
One more breath.
Now let your mind shift over to an intention you would like to set for today.
Have that intention,
Place it in your mind and in your heart,
And let it live there.
Feel that intention.
And then start to breathe into it.
Like you're leaning into that intention.
With each breath it grows stronger.
More powerful.
Let it grow until it encompasses your body and flows throughout you.
Your intention becomes one with you.
Excellent.
One more breath.
If you need more time,
Feel free to press pause and then come back.
Now let's see more intentions.
Set other ones.
I would suggest having one,
Two,
But no more than three intentions for a day.
We'll take a couple of breaths.
Set your intentions.
Either just the one or up to three.
Place them in your heart,
In your mind.
Breathing into them.
Leaning into them.
Letting them resonate with you.
Becoming one with you.
So let's take four or five breaths and bring in those intentions.
Excellent.
Two more breaths.
Let those intentions live with you.
Be part of you as you go through today or this week.
Let them live with you.
Remind yourself of them throughout the day.
Maybe write yourself a note and put it where you will see it multiple times.
As a gentle reminder to live out those intentions.
And know that we are all human.
And while we set these intentions,
Sometimes we don't live them out.
We struggle.
At times we forget.
That happens.
Don't beat yourself up.
Don't worry.
Just forgive yourself if you need.
Offer yourself grace.
And come back to them.
Start living them out again.
You deserve to be happy.
You should be happy in life.
And get the most out of life.
Live with your intentions.
Let them become one with you.
Keep owning your day.
Let's finish our meditation with an Aum.
And let this Aum help set these intentions on your heart.
The length and pitch of your Aum doesn't matter.
What matters is you let it just flow over you.
Letting that peace and your intentions settle in.
So let's breathe in an Aum together.
Here we go.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.

Aum.
Aum.
Take a breath in.
Breathing in the beautiful air.
Breathing in that energy.
Letting it flow throughout your body.
Wiggle your toes and fingers,
Reawakening your body.
Open your eyes and join us again.
Thank you so much for joining me in today's meditation.
I truly appreciate it.
Know that you are enough just as you are.
You don't need to do anything,
Change anything,
Or prove anything.
You are enough.
