Meditation has been at the center of my life for over twenty-five years. I began practicing in my early twenties and later trained as a meditation teacher in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Over time, my practice moved far beyond the meditation cushion and into real life: working with people facing addiction, trauma, anxiety, and deep emotional stress. Meditation stopped being something abstract. It became something practical. Something that helps when life actually hurts. Over the years I’ve taught mindfulness and meditation in many settings including retreats, recovery programs, prisons, and workshops for caregivers and nurses experiencing compassion fatigue. These experiences shaped the approach I share today. Most people don’t need complicated spiritual philosophy. They need tools that help when the mind is racing and the nervous system is overwhelmed. My work blends traditional mindfulness with modern insights from neuroscience and nervous system regulation. I call this approach the NeuroAwakening Method: training attention and emotional awareness so the mind gradually becomes steadier, clearer, and more resilient. The meditations I share here are simple, grounded practices designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your breath, and return to a deeper sense of presence. Meditation cannot remove life’s challenges. But it can change the way we meet them.
