Welcome to your root chakra meditation,
The Mooladhara.
Located at the base of your spine,
I invite you to find a comfortable seat,
Sitting cross-legged or however feels comfy for you.
With your spine nice and tall and straight,
Gently closing your eyes and starting to tune into your breath.
Long deep inhales through the nose,
Exhaling through the mouth.
Inhaling taking the breath down to your roots.
As you exhale,
Soften into the space,
Feeling the floor beneath you.
Expanding the breath and releasing any tension that you're holding in your physical body,
Releasing and softening with every exhale.
I invite you to take your attention down to the base of your spine and your roots.
Imagining as you inhale your breath,
Goes all the way down your spine and starts to grow roots down into the earth beneath you.
Exhaling taking the breath down and exhaling,
Pulling the energy up from the earth into your root chakra.
Plugging in to pat your mama and feeling your connection to her,
To your foundation.
Now imagining a red glow filling up this entire space,
Nourishing every cell.
And this red glow is filling up your roots,
Your legs,
Your knees,
Your feet,
Into your body.
Taking the breath down,
Deep down.
Keep softening,
Keep landing into the space and into this moment.
When we come to arrive in the root chakra,
We allow ourselves to be in a place of trust.
Trust in our bodies.
Trust in our life and our journey.
Trusting in our choices.
So I invite you to bring this vibration into your day and noticing every choice.
Are you making it from trust or fear?
And understanding that as you move from a place of trust,
The universe supports you,
Celebrates you,
Holds you.
So connecting to that feeling of trust deep within your body,
Your soul.
How would it feel to trust in everything that you're doing?
How would it feel to trust in your being?
Perhaps you can call upon the medicine of your ancestors,
The ones from your lineage,
The ones that walked before you.
Perhaps they have gifts for you to receive in this moment.
So without them,
You wouldn't be here right now.
Inviting them in and creating space within you to receive their medicine,
Receive their messages.
You chose this moment,
This body.
So how can you trust more and more?
Feeling the beat of Mother Earth beneath you.
Like the beating of your heart matching the rhythm of her.
How do you want your day to look?
How do you want your life to feel?
Bringing this intention deep down into your roots.
So that you may walk with intention.
So that you may walk in beauty with every step that you take.
To walk with humbleness,
Kindness,
And trust.

I am grounded.
I am home.
