This 2.5 minute meditation focuses on our relationship with food. Affirmations are words or phrases, repeated either silently or out loud, that can alter the way you think about yourself and your life; turning negative thought patterns into positive ones. A few of the benefits of daily affirmations include; boost self-esteem, relieve stress, help with motivation, self-love and pain relief. Affirmations are easy to do, and I encourage you to do them often to see the positive changes unfold.

I invite you to find a space where you can be comfortable and sit or lie down.

Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Take a long deep breath in and exhale all the way out.

Find these affirmations either to yourself or out loud and let them sink in and really resonate with you.

I eat foods that nourish my body.

I don't have to restrict certain foods.

I trust that my body knows what foods I need.

I enjoy planning meals.

Healthy foods taste good.

I take my time while I eat my meals.

I have plenty of time to eat in peace.

I mindfully chew each bite.

I am thankful for the food that sustains me.

Nutritious foods give me energy.

I have a positive relationship with food.

I eat when I am hungry.

I stop eating when I am full.

I enjoy drinking water.

I love trying new vegetables.

I respect myself and my body.

Being healthy feels good.

And so it is.

Thank you for these affirmations, they are on point. I wish there was a longer version, with the same sentences and more, and spoke slightly slower, so I could repeat them aloud.
