Welcome,
My name is Jeongjin and I'll be guiding you in this meditation to activate the seven chakras with affirmations of self-love.
Each chakra is an energy center that's directly related to the way we experience the world.
We'll use affirmations that contain specific words that resonate with the vibration of each energy center.
This will energize the chakras with love so that we are radiating self-love from the inside out.
Please settle into a meditation posture of your choice,
Making sure that your spine is straight.
We'll begin by placing both of our hands over our heart center.
Take a moment to feel your heart beating against your hands.
With each breath,
Feel your heart energy filling your hands.
Our hands are extensions of the heart,
So we'll be using our hands to connect with each chakra and to send love into each energy center.
Place one or both of your hands on your tailbone at the base of your spine.
This is where the root chakra is located.
Feel the warmth of your hands spreading into the root chakra,
Carrying the energy of love and compassion into this energy center.
The root chakra is activated by the words,
I am.
Feel free to repeat the affirmations after me,
Either out loud or in your mind,
Or you're welcome to simply listen to my voice.
I am worthy of love.
I am the source of my own joy.
I am surrounded by love.
I am open to receiving love.
I am moving the hands to the space just below the navel.
Place one or both of your hands here.
Feel the energy of love spreading through your hands and into the sacral chakra.
This energy center is activated by the words,
I feel.
I feel loved by myself and others.
I feel at ease in my own company.
I feel safe in my body.
I feel compassion and kindness towards myself.
I feel love without fear and express it freely.
Now move the hands to the sternum,
The space below the chest and between the ribcage.
Feeling the warmth of your hands spreading into the solar plexus,
Send loving energy to this chakra.
This energy center is activated by the words,
I do.
I do acts of kindness for myself every day.
I do embody love through my thoughts and actions.
I do respond to myself with self-compassion.
I do my best to accept myself unconditionally.
All that I do is enough because I am enough.
Now placing the hands over the center of the chest,
We'll begin to connect with the heart chakra.
Feeling the heart energy radiating from this energy center,
We'll begin to activate it using the words,
I love.
I love and accept myself just as I am.
I love who I was and I love who I am becoming.
I love and honor every version of me.
I love my body and I nurture it with kindness.
I love my life and I'm grateful for it every day.
Now using the tips of your fingers,
Lightly rest your hands at the base of the throat in the space just above the collarbones.
Breathe in the love that's spreading through your hands and into the throat chakra.
This energy center is activated by the words,
I speak.
I speak to myself with compassion.
I speak loving words to myself and others.
I speak affirmations that guide me back to love.
I speak words of gratitude every day.
I speak to myself with trust and respect.
Now gently place your fingertips above the eyebrows at the center of the forehead.
Resting your hand here,
Begin to connect with your third eye chakra.
This energy center is activated by the words,
I see.
I see myself through the eyes of love.
I see that I am worthy of love.
I see how lovable I am.
I see that love is all around me.
I see that love is always within me.
And moving to the seventh chakra,
Place the palm of your hand at the top of your head.
Begin connecting with the crown chakra.
I will activate this energy center using the words,
I know.
I know that I am loved by the universe.
I know that I am connected to an infinite source of love.
I know that loving myself allows me to love others.
I know that love is my medicine.
I know that love is my birthright.
Now resting your hands on your lap or beside you,
We'll integrate the energy of self-love using our breath.
On your next inhale,
Breathe in and up from the belly to the head.
Exhale breathe out and down from the head to the belly.
Inhale breathe up.
Exhale breathe down.
For the next few moments,
Follow the breath as it circulates the energy of self-love through the seven chakras.
Gently releasing your focus now,
Breathe comfortably.
We'll close our practice by repeating the words,
I love you.

I love you.
When you're ready,
Begin to move your fingers and very slowly blink the eyes open.
