Okay,
My friends,
Let's find stillness.
Let's take two deep inhales and exhales together.
In through our nose and exhale out your nose.
And again in through your nose and exhale.
And if you haven't already,
Go ahead and close your eyes.
Now,
Let's clear your mind.
Think of your mind as a lake.
So full of knowledge,
Of love,
Joy.
But at times,
Stress,
Worry,
And fear can be stirred up in our water.
So let's calm the water.
Think of the water as stillness,
As you are stillness.
And in your mind,
As the water is now still,
Express gratitude for whatever you are grateful for today,
For yesterday,
For what's to come.
Let's take an inhale with those gratitude chairs.
In through your nose and out your nose.
We are now going to practice positive self-talk in this meditation.
In your mind's eye,
I want you to picture a beautiful door.
The door can be whatever color you would like,
Whatever wood,
Whatever handle.
It is your beautiful door.
Now let's open this door,
Touching the handle and pushing through.
And when you enter,
You are in a cozy room that is sun-kissed by golden hour.
This room comforts you.
And as you look around the room,
You see only one thing in the room.
You see a large floor-length mirror.
You see yourself.
And now it is time to have a conversation with yourself.
A conversation in regards to the limiting beliefs and negative self-talk that you have said to yourself.
Don't get overwhelmed.
We are here with patience with ourselves.
So let's take two deep breaths before we start this conversation.
Now let's begin.
As you look yourself in the mirror,
Say to yourself,
I am sorry.
And tell yourself why you are sorry.
Ask yourself and say to yourself,
What am I thankful for?
You now ask yourself,
How has the way that I have been thinking affected my life?
You then ask,
Where would I like to shift my thinking?
How does this shift in your thoughts change your future?
And now,
As you reflect on all of those answers,
I want you to say,
I love you.
And say your name.
The last thing that you will say to yourself as you look yourself in the mirror,
Is making a promise to yourself.
So say,
I promise.
And fill in the blank.
Now sit with yourself in this room as the sun is going down and you are looking yourself in the mirror.
Be with yourself.
Smile at yourself.
And hug yourself in this room,
Looking in the mirror,
But also in the space that you sit.
Embrace yourself for all that you are,
That you have been,
That you will become.
When you are ready,
Say goodbye to yourself in the mirror with grace.
Close the door behind you,
And make your way back to your space in our reality.
Take one last deep inhale through your nose,
And exhale audibly,
Noticing how you feel and what you will take with you and into the next day.
And you can open your eyes.
