Hello my friends,
Welcome to today's meditation.
In today's meditation we'll be focusing on stillness.
There's nothing you need to do.
There's nowhere you need to go.
Let's just be here in stillness.
Close down your eyes,
If you haven't already,
And allow yourself to get situated,
Whether you're seated or lying down.
Allow for any wiggles,
Twitches,
Any adjustments needed to do right now during this time.
And let's go deeper into stillness.
Taking a deep inhale,
Breathing in through your nose,
And exhaling out through your mouth.
And another inhale through your nose.
Can you allow yourself to just be still?
Allow your body to be still,
Your mind to be still.
Any thoughts that try and come in,
Just to let them know that when you're done with this stillness,
If they serve you,
Then they can come back.
But for now,
Allow yourself to be still.
As if everything is melting off of you,
Your body to melt deeper into the surface below you.
And just be still.
There's nowhere to be.
There is nothing to do.
All there is,
Is stillness.
Just be still.
Savoring these moments,
These moments of stillness,
These moments with you.
Just be still.
For just a few more moments,
Let the stillness consume you.
Your body is still.
Just be still.
In these last few moments of stillness,
On your own time,
Take three cleansing inhales and exhales with stillness,
Each breath,
To this very moment with yourself.
And thank you for taking this moment for yourself,
For taking this moment to be still.
