This is a 3-minute quick reset meditation designed for you to feel more grounded and centred. Experience this practice as the start of your yoga session or as a standalone meditation. This practice is adapted from the original meditation taught to Jeremy by the amazing Jillian Pransky.

Transcript

Find yourself in a comfortable seat.

Gently close your eyes.

Start to feel where your body meets support.

Release a few long exhales through your mouth and allow your body weight to descend to the ground.

Just like an hourglass filled with sand draining from the top half into the bottom half.

Imagine the heaviness of the sand in you draining from the ground of your head,

Your shoulders,

Your torso into the bottom half of your body.

Allow all the weight to rest heavily in your seat.

Allow your entire body to land on the ground.

Place one hand on your chest and the other hand on your belly.

Notice the feeling of your breath beneath your hands.

Feel the nourishing breath flowing in and out of you,

Caring for you.

Take a few moments here.

As you prepare to transition back to your day to day life,

Welcome yourself again into this moment grounded in your body.
