You are about to enter a magical doorway for creative insight and natural replenishment.

The liminal dream space between waking and sleeping.

The spaces between things are full of energy potential and connective powers.

Huge ripeness and potency await at these edges.

Just like edges of ecosystems which often hold extra richness in biodiversity,

Resources and resilience,

Which allows them to uniquely thrive,

Especially in times of stress and change.

When you rest in your spaces between,

You nourish the richness of your awareness and your resilience,

And you expand into a creative vision space.

So set your attention free.

If you fall asleep,

I invite you to watch yourself doing so,

In the bigger awareness that you are.

Whatever happens,

You cannot do this wrong.

In fact,

You don't have to do anything.

Let it flow through you.

Just to rest all by itself is lush with vitality.

As you settle in to whatever positioning is most comfortable for you,

Feel the skin of the back body and whatever it touches,

Breathing into that sensation.

Breath invited to stretch itself out a little,

Like removing tight shoes and letting the feet spread out.

You are encompassed in a circle of protection,

A field of love,

Images?

Symbols?

Liminal dreaming.

On the edges of typical focus,

There is an aspect of vision that is most sensitive and vivid.

Feel into the space around the edges of eyes.

Muscles and skin.

Softening around those edges.

Frame of perception.

Loosening.

Like screen eyes unfurling into wide open sky vision.

Center of palms.

Legs.

Center of souls.

Sensation of pulse in the spaces between.

Can you feel the energy behind the pulse?

A touch of waking.

Dreaming.

Sleeping.

And the spaces between.

Many waves simultaneously.

A larger space.

Nowhere to be.

A well of being.

There's something so intriguing about this meditation that I don't get with the other Nidra sessions. In all other nidras, i either stay awake (conscious), or fall asleep, or be in this middle space. But if i wanted, i can stay awake. With this one, I think I consciously only "get" the first few lines and then I'm off in some space where my waking consciousness does not exist. I've tried many times to stay mentally awake to hear it all, but I just can't. I guess this meditation switches on my liminal space automatically. I love this. Always a fun but restful "trip". Thank you Jennifer!!

Another wonderful guide into rest, and awareness. Her voice is beautiful. I felt quite lifted after the first time with this one. 7/10/24 After using this twice a week for a year or so, I have to add that I've experienced some amazing moments in that sacred space. Dreaming while awake can provide deeply spiritual visions and sometimes just a fun light show for your mind's eye. At the very least, I always come out of it feeling rejuvenated.

Jennifer Pearcy is extraordinarily attuned to, and can deftly describe, a liminal space just on the edge of sleep. She gently and skillfully transports us there many nights, and I’m always so impressed and thankful for her. I often wonder why she’s not more prominent in this world. Maybe she is in another?
