You find yourself here again,

Wide awake,

In the middle of the night,

Your mind is agitated or trying to solve the world's problems.

Let's get you back to sleep.

Softly adjust your body into a comfortable position.

Find a place of physical comfort and relaxation.

Gently close your eyes and focus your eyes on the middle of your forehead.

Take a deep inhale and slowly exhale while visualizing your point of focus as the night sky,

Free from city lights,

Under an ocean of stars.

Soften your breathing,

Your thoughts are merely floating across the night sky.

Acknowledge them,

Let them go,

Just drifting past.

Relax your inner focus now.

Imagine holding in your hand a magic wand,

One that's personal to you.

Perhaps it's smoothly polished with meticulous runic carvings,

Or a simple rustic one like a small branch from a tree,

And when you raise it up,

It glows brilliantly against the starry night sky.

If a thought arises that doesn't serve your best interests,

Wave your wand to send it away.

Give it a try on the next thought that arises.

Wave your wand to swish it away.

Relax.

Clear your mind.

Be in this moment.

Gently breathe,

Relax,

Back to sleep.

Let your thoughts drift away,

Floating past you.

Dismissing the stubborn thoughts away with the gentle twists of your wand.
