Foster self-nurturing in the New Year with this guided meditation. Embrace soothing guidance for self-parenting, cultivating a fulfilling and compassionate journey ahead. I intend it to be both an introduction to the novice meditator while inviting those with experience to sharpen their skills and learn creative new techniques. The goal of this challenge is to make a commitment to yourself for 21 days, with hopes of it turning into a consistent habit post-challenge. My purpose in creating this series and making it highly accessible is to generate collective momentum to intentionally release the massive challenges of the past two years so we might enter the New Year with clarity of mind and a commitment to the simple # daily practices that support us to show up as our highest selves.

Some of us grew up with unhealed parents or caregivers,

They raised us in environments where their own wounding got in the way of loving who we were while we were growing up.

They did their best but still unknowingly damaged us along the way.

This manifested into us as adults when we began to question if we were lovable.

Some of us became enablers,

Letting our partners,

Friends and family treat us badly or unkind.

Because we never witnessed healthy boundaries,

We didn't know how to take care of ourselves,

How to make it stop.

So we felt stuck,

Lost or alone,

Without hope.

We might have grown up longing for approval by our caregivers but they didn't know how to do that.

So we grew into unhealthy adults,

Stuck in the trap,

Still longing for that approval that we never got.

As children,

We wanted our parents' love,

Affection,

Admiration and acceptance.

But many of us didn't get those things.

So as adults,

We feel like something might be wrong with us.

Like we're broken,

Unlovable,

Unworthy and acceptable.

And we may hide behind masks so that the world won't find out how we really feel.

We pretend that we're okay.

We smile when we feel lonely or sad.

Today is the day we begin to correct that faulty programming we received as children.

We won't blame anyone.

We just let that energy go for it doesn't serve us.

Imagine you're talking to yourself.

The higher self is speaking to the everyday self that walks around and runs around.

What would the higher self say?

I love you.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I fill myself.

I fill my world around me with light.

I fill the world around me with light and I see nothing but pure white light.

Above me,

Below me,

Beside me,

Within me,

I see and feel great light.

I fill my world with love.

I see nothing but pure white love.

Above me,

Below me,

Beside me,

Within me,

I see and feel great love.

I fill my world with life energy.

I see nothing but pure white life energy.

Above me,

Below me,

Beside me,

Within me,

I see and feel the great life energy.

I love you.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I am grateful for the situation that stands in front of me for it has come for a reason.

I accept it with kindness and I understand that it is an offering from my karma.

I see the person in the situation with great respect.

They are my greatest teacher.

I share all the treasures of my divine gifts with this being.

I love you.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I have the power within me to make the shifts I seek.

I see the situation having the grace to change by itself.

I give it the power of the great light and if the situation does not change,

I have complete control and ability to change myself with my pure intention.

I have the power to manifest truth and abundance in my life.

I stay positive,

Happy and light at all times.

I allow the light of the divine to infuse peace into all areas of my life.

I allow the light of the divine to infuse peace into all areas of my life.

I love you.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Please bring your palms together in prayer position at your heart center.

Let's take a moment of gratitude.

Now please rub your palms against each other kindling the prana,

The life force and you will find a nice warm ball of energy welled up between your palms.

I want you to go ahead and cup your eyes,

One with each palm and bless yourself.

May health reign in my body,

May love reign in my mind and peace reign in my heart.

You can drop your palms,

Bring your arms down.

I thank you for joining me in this practice today.

Namaste.
