The format for the Sunday sessions is as follows.

It's going to be a 30-minute official set,

That is about 15 minutes of it.

I will start with some breath work,

Followed by a guided meditation.

And I hope you all know today's topic is about money as a teacher on your spiritual path.

So I ask that you please go ahead and downshift your gaze or close your eyes.

And let's start by some deep belly breathing.

Put your palms on your belly.

And as you're taking a nice deep inhale,

I want your belly to be expanding and collapsing.

Samavritti pranayama.

So this is where even breathing for a count of five in through the nostrils,

Going in deep into the abdomen.

And then as you're expanding,

You allow the air to come in and as you exhale,

It contracts with the navel going back towards the spine for an equal amount.

And you can exhale through the mouth.

So inhale through the nose and exhale from the mouth.

Making it nice and deep and even.

Making sure it's your belly that's rising and collapsing and not your chest.

There's a lot of science to show when you breathe deep,

You activate your parasympathetic nervous system,

PNS,

Which is your rest and digest part of your autonomous nervous system.

Ah.

Versus if you're breathing shallow into your chest,

You're activating your sympathetic nervous system,

Which is your fight and flight system.

We don't want to do that.

And so an easy way to calm down is to breathe deep like this.

As I often say,

The brain,

The body,

And your breath are deeply connected.

And if you're feeling anxious about something,

Feeling restless,

Not able to focus,

A simple way to rein in,

To bring yourself back to being present here in the now is to focus on your diaphragm,

That muscle that controls the opening and the closing of your abdominal cavity.

This intron controls how much,

How deeply,

And how fully you can open up your lungs to fill in the air.

And as you squeeze out every little ounce of air,

You're letting go of what the body does not need.

And in this process of regulating your breath,

You're regulating your brain,

Bringing the monkey mind,

Allowing it to settle.

Give the monkey a treat,

It'll go up and down,

And eventually it'll get tired and rest.

And in that state of resting,

Insight is born.

Now in your next pranayama exercise,

I want you to take in a deep inhale through the nostrils.

This time we keep the mouth closed.

And as we're exhaling,

We're going to release the air with a hum,

A hum that originates at the bottom of your throat.

Let me demonstrate it for you to begin with.

So this is like a buzzing bee,

Brahmari,

That's the name of this pranayama.

Let's do three rounds of that together.

So now together,

Let's take in a nice deep inhale.

And exhale for about 10 or more seconds.

Hmm.

Round two.

Round three.

Allowing yourself to drop into experiencing how you're feeling inside of your headspace,

Inside of your chest.

In your abdomen.

All the way down your limbs.

This last brahmari exercise is an excellent way to massage,

It's like an internal massage for the organs inside the head,

Including your sinus cavities.

Now in this next exercise,

We'll do something called bandha.

So we will inhale for a count of five,

Exhale for a count of seven,

And then with empty lungs,

We will hold for a count of eight.

So let's do a few rounds of that together.

Inhale for five.

Exhale for seven,

Through the nostrils.

And hold for eight.

Inhale for five.

Exhale for seven.

And hold for eight.

Inhale for five,

Through the nostrils.

Exhale for seven,

Through the nostrils.

And you're holding for eight.

Inhale,

Making sure you're using your belly to inhale.

Keeping it deep.

You're trying to give muscle memory so that we learn to naturally breathe from the abdomen.

Exhaling.

Inhale.

Exhale through the nostrils for seven.

And then we hold for eight.

Inhale.

Exhale.

And hold.

Inhale.

And this time we're moving on to the next and the final pranayama,

Which is the chanting of om.

So I want you to go ahead and take a full deep breath in.

And then as you're releasing this air,

It comes out as a thin stream with the chant of om.

Eyes closed.

First round.

Full breath of air into the abdomen.

And then second round.

And final.

Now return back to samavritti pranayama.

You're even breathing five in and five out.

Making sure that you continue breathing into the belly,

Not into your chest.

And then observing for yourself.

Just 15 minutes of breath work.

Notice what has done for you.

Notice the slower pace of thoughts in your mind.

The ease of your breath.

And the lightness and even a tingling sensation you may be feeling in your body.

You have become more present.

Acknowledge that.

Now with your eyes still closed,

I want to now transition into the matters of the heart.

And we're going to talk about money and how it can be a teacher on your spiritual path.

Exploring your relationship with money can be one of the paths that leads you to greater consciousness,

Personal power,

And wellness.

It might seem strange to think that money could be a teacher on your spiritual path.

But I have lived it and walked it myself.

And I witnessed many others do the same.

I sometimes call money the final spiritual frontier.

As many people walking a spiritual path either do not wish to look at their relationship with money.

That is either spiritualizing their lack of resources by throwing spiritual cliches at their money problems.

Or by making the mistake of thinking that money is outside the realm of spirituality,

Of spirit altogether.

Sometimes making money more powerful than God.

If you find yourself struggling in life right now,

Financially or otherwise,

Perhaps there is another way to think,

Or more importantly,

Feel about money.

How you become truly wealthy is different for each and every one of us.

Just like our individual life paths and purpose.

How you define your own personal wealth is incredibly important to spend time unpacking.

So that you may make sure you are in alignment with your own personal truth.

While living and creating the right livelihood so that we have the capacity to sustain and thrive in our lives.

Even after years of emotional healing work,

We sometimes make the mistake of believing that something out there has created our poverty,

Our debts.

Something out there has kept us from becoming wealthy or prosperous.

And we may feel angry,

Desperate or hopeless to change those circumstances.

While in reality,

Outside events are only a reflection of the belief systems and emotions that we hold within,

Deep within our psyche.

And when you shift your internal energies and release those belief systems that created and kept you bound in debt,

Lack and not enough,

All areas of your life will improve.

Increasing your worthiness to receive more.

I'm going to share with you seven reflections on money.

These reflections will help you open up gently to all that you are,

To abundance,

Grace,

Harmony.

And you will experience so much more in these powerful teachings.

Number one.

What you appreciate,

Appreciates.

What you appreciate,

Appreciates.

People give money power without questioning it.

They believe it to be the ultimate elixir of all our problems.

Money is energy like any other form.

And it takes the path of least resistance.

Number two.

There is not enough.

I am not enough because I don't have enough.

This is toxic conditioned thinking.

Become aware of the abundance in your soul.

The abundance of the being that you are right now.

I am content.

I am enough.

Number three.

You are energy in relationship with matter.

You are energy in relationship with matter.

And gratefulness is the experience of the great fullness of life.

It is so powerful.

And when you realize this,

The bowl of life is overflowing,

Has been overflowing.

You just have to see it.

Number four.

There is a principle of sufficiency and it's as follows.

When you let go of trying to get more of what you don't really need,

Which is what we're all trying to get more of,

It frees up immense energy to make a difference with what you have.

I'll say that one more time.

The principle of sufficiency says when you let go of trying to get more of what you don't really need,

Which is what most of us are trying to get more of,

It frees up immense energy to make a difference with what you have.

Number five.

True abundance flows from enough,

Never from more.

True abundance flows from enough,

Never from more.

Money carries our intention.

If we use it with integrity,

Then it carries integrity forward.

Know the flow.

Take responsibility for the way your money moves in the world.

Let your soul inform your money and your money express your soul.

Access your assets,

Not only money,

But also your character,

Your capabilities,

Your relationships.

And other non-money resources.

Number six.

You're not rich or poor.

You are a whole and complete person living in the ebb and flow of life.

You are not rich or poor,

But you're a whole and complete person living in the ebb and flow of life.

Number seven.

Be known for what you allocate rather than what you accumulate.

Be known for what you allocate rather than what you accumulate.

And it'll teach you to be measured and measure others by our inner riches rather than the accumulation of outer riches.

And with these spiritual principles,

As you raise your worthiness,

You raise your worthiness by forgiving your past behaviors through the understanding that has caused and created the negative belief systems around money.

And by releasing those negative belief systems,

You will begin to feel lighter,

More free,

Abundant,

More alive.

Prosperity and true freedom are acquired through shedding these layers of belief systems and forgiving the past behaviors and actions.

And consciously focusing your intention and feelings towards this abundance.

I want you to bring your palms together in prayer position at your heart center.

Let's acknowledge the gifts that we have received in this last half hour.

Let this be the beginning to a new you,

A new future,

A new mindset,

In a new body.

Now I want you to rub your palms together and igniting the Qi nice and brisk till you feel a warm ball of energy well up between your palms.

And then I want you to take that warm energy and cup both your eyes,

One with each palm and bless yourself.

May clarity reign in my mind.

May contentment and love reign in my heart.

And may well-being and health reign in my entire body.

And I love that Qi to percolate through every nook and cranny of this body.

And I want you to take your palms and break them face outwards as if you're sending a blessing.

And think of a person,

Some people or a place that could use this blessing right now.

May their worries end.

May their troubles be removed.

May they realize their abundance and allocate their resources for the highest good.

May they be prosperous in body,

Mind and wealth.

Let's tune in to the supreme being as we channel the energy of the supreme source of light and love.

Down to me,

Through me and out and around.

Completely recharging and rejuvenating the self.

And as I light up,

The world around me feels it.

They can sense the energy,

The positivity,

The gratitude in my heart.

They can sense the abundance and these energies radiate like an aura all around me.

And bring our palms back together and pray position at your heart center.

And acknowledge how you're feeling right now.

And if you could summarize how you're feeling right now in one word,

What would that be?

I want you to please go ahead and share that one word when you're ready,

Opening your eyes and posting it in the comment section.

So we all know how you're doing right now.
