Weight Loss: How we eat is as important as what we eat. I've helped people lose over 50 lbs and overcome severe eating disorders, without fad diets or crazy exercise routines, simply by committing to changing self-talk. Most people who struggle with body image and food issues are stuck in the vicious cycle of restriction and indulgence. They think that if they only had better self control, they would finally have the body they want. Unfortunately, this rarely works in the long run. This guided meditation is the framework I've used with multiple clients to retrain your mind. Learn to be more kind to yourself, and how to listen to and take care of your body's truest needs. With a more loving and peaceful mind, your body can let go of the excess weight.

Five minutes to love my body.

My body is not my essence.

My body is my vessel.

When I pass,

My body will stay.

And I will no longer live within it.

I must love,

Cherish,

And take care of this body while I inhabit it.

When I judge,

Reject,

And mistreat my body,

I am keeping it from feeling healthy and strong.

My body naturally wants to be healthy and strong.

When I am unkind and try to control my body,

I reject its natural,

Healthy path.

If I were to listen to my body,

What would it say to me?

I am choosing to trust my body to tell me exactly what it needs.

I just need to listen to it.

I trust my body naturally wants to be healthy and balanced.

When I connect with my body and listen closely,

I feel love,

Gratitude,

And calm.

I do not need to control my eating or exercising as a way to control my body.

If I simply listen to my body,

It will tell me what it needs for nourishment and exercise.

I can live in alignment with the needs of my body.

I will listen and trust what my body tells me.

If I listen to the whispers of my body,

It won't have to scream.
