Let's start by squeezing all of your muscles as tightly as you can for 10 seconds.

Squeeze squeeze squeeze.

Doing this has been scientifically proven to help release stress from the body,

And we want to get our body into a restorative state.

All right,

Relax your muscles now.

Make sure your shoulders are over your hips and relax your shoulders down.

Soften the muscles of your neck.

Take a deep breath in and follow your attention to the end of the breath.

Breathe out and follow your attention to the end of the breath.

Breathe in and as you breathe out,

Relax and soften your muscles deeply.

Soften your eye gaze and on your next exhale,

Drift them closed.

Bring your attention down into the center of your chest.

Breathe however feels natural for you,

But starting to imagine the breath is coming in through the chest and out through the chest.

This will allow your body to transition your parasympathetic nervous system to the forefront,

Meaning it will transition into a restorative state,

A greater felt sense of relaxation,

Maybe even a felt sense of peace.

If it helps,

You can place one hand or both on your chest to help keep your attention there.

Now think about the problem you're trying to solve for.

Ask it as a question.

For example,

How do I create the best solution for the design I'm working on?

No need to create a perfect question.

Just ask any question in your head to aid you in your creative work today.

It could be as simple as,

How do I increase my creativity today?

Now we'll transition to breathing five seconds in through the heart,

Five seconds out through the heart,

In,

Out,

In,

Out,

In,

Out,

Out.

In out in out in out in out in out in out in out in out in out and we'll let that rhythm go but continuing to hold awareness in the center of your chest Now,

I want you to tap into what it might feel like to have successfully created what you desired today Maybe you can imagine the feeling of coming up with an insight or the feeling of completing something What sensations does that bring up in your body?

Maybe it brings a light smile to your face,

Maybe you feel a sense of expansion Maybe you feel increased energy in certain areas No right or wrong,

Just noticing Can you bring up images of what it might be like to have completed what you want to?

What sensations do you feel with those images?

Maybe you feel a sense of wholeness Maybe brightness Whatever it is,

Just whatever it is,

Just notice If these sensations feel good,

Can you amplify them?

Can you double the strength of the sensation?

Maybe you can imagine someone else being impacted by your creativity What do they look like?

How does knowing the impact you had impact you?

How does knowing the impact you had impact you?

What sensations does it bring up in your body?

Can you make those sensations more vibrant?

All right,

We'll let that go Bring your attention back to the breath Following all the way to the end of the inhale and all the way to the end of the exhale Again following your breath all the way to the end of the inhale And all the way to the end of the exhale All the way to the end of the exhale One more time,

Feeling the sensations of the breath all the way to the end of the inhale And all the way to the end of the exhale Bring your attention to the sounds around you Now bring your attention up behind your eyes Gently opening your eyes and now widen your eyes so they are open and curious So they are open and curious When our eyes are wider they take in more information We tend to associate different body sensations and positions with emotions These are called associative somatic memories When we are open and curious our eyes tend to be wider and take in more information When our body is in a curious and open state we are more likely to be creative So continue to hold this wide-eyed position and now let it go Set your intention for the next part of your day Whether you intend to come up with your next creative solution Or intend to remain in a mindful curious state Or just take your time and relax and enjoy as you move towards your goals Best of luck in your creative endeavors today Bye for now
