Welcome to healing meditation.
I'm Janet Stone.
Allow yourself the opportunity to come seated in a comfortable position.
One that supports the spine to elongate.
Turn off all devices,
Distractions for a moment.
And allow yourself this opportunity to go inward.
The amount of information that we take in these days is far beyond our capacity to digest it.
We've catapulted into a time where we have access to more than we can digest,
Assimilate,
Make sense of,
Grieve,
Celebrate.
And so in our time together,
We sit in a healing space within our own being.
We turn back to a simplicity of breath,
Rhythm.
Once you find your seat,
Let's take one deep exhale together.
Take a deep inhale.
Top of the inhale,
Sip it a little bit more.
Open the mouth and exhale all the breath out.
And again,
Inhale full breath,
Sip in a little bit more.
Open the mouth,
Exhale.
And inhale through the nose,
Full breath,
Sip in a little bit more.
Open the mouth.
Couple more like that.
Little more,
Open the mouth.
Open mouth.
Last one.
Open mouth.
Beautiful.
Let's find a normal inhale,
Just a natural inhale and exhale.
Place both hands on the low belly,
Palms facing in,
Eyes closed.
In that natural breath,
Breathe into your hands.
Feel them open in the inhale and contract on the exhale.
Find the sense of fullness and enoughness with the breath that is happening here and now.
Your own natural rhythm of inhale to exhale that feeds your entire system,
Allows you thoughts and emotions,
Allows you a new day,
A new opportunity.
Just sit with this rhythm,
The in and the out.
As you inhale,
The whole world outside,
All that we think is separate comes in.
As we exhale,
All that we think we have to hide within moves out.
And that exchange.
Pay attention to the jaw,
Softening around the jaw.
Pay attention to the tongue,
Soften the tongue,
The sides of the tongue,
The root of the tongue.
Breath still flows naturally.
You can either keep your hands on the low belly or place them on the knees or the thighs.
And this simple flow of breath,
Noticing that exchange,
Nothing more,
Nothing less.
All we've taken in,
All the information,
Images,
Spark,
Deep emotion or thought fade for a moment.
We're simply an inhale and an exhale present in the space that we're in right here,
Right now.
The mold that's been,
The hardship,
The trauma,
The pain,
The mold that's been,
The beauty,
The stress,
The uplift,
All of it melds in this very moment.
Anything that might be,
Might come later fades and all we are is an inhale and an exhale.
Expand and contract the fullness of being in this moment.
Exhaling by allowing yourself to be utterly here.
As we acknowledge all the cells in our body are constantly expanding,
Contracting,
And often led by our past imprints.
We go deep within to heal.
Healing these imprints allows us to acknowledge them,
Again both in beauty and in pain of our past and bring ourselves in present moment to our adult being,
Our more grown form.
That we are an embodiment of complete wisdom,
Innate intelligence,
Developing this state of compassion for self,
Understanding that we have access to more than we can digest,
Assimilate.
Choose to follow the breath in and out,
In and out.
The deep internal wisdom will discern nutrients from waste.
All that we have access to organizes itself into that nutrients or waste.
This last exhale we empty out the waste and allow to be filled with the nutrients on the inhale.
Let's do that a couple more,
Exhale,
Empty in the waste.
Inhale fill up nutrients.
One more.
Empty on the exhale,
Waste,
Excess.
Inhale that deep nourishment.
Return to neutral breath.
Turn back to your day,
Grounded,
Discerning and what information we take in.
Om.
