Welcome to the Anxiety Liberation Meditation.
This meditation is for anyone who experiences any level of anxiety,
Worry,
Fearfulness,
Distrust in life.
This is a meditation that you can return to day after day as you begin to understand that the anxiety that you feel is not you,
It is not bad,
It is not harmful,
It is merely an energy that is going to be recognized,
Nurtured,
Loved,
Witnessed,
Experienced,
And transmuted into light.
As you continue to use this meditation,
You will begin to learn how to liberate yourself from these anxious feelings,
So that when they do arise,
You can ask yourself,
What is this about?
What am I not seeing?
What can this teach me?
There is nothing wrong with feeling anxious in the society that we live in today.
Our bodies cannot help it.
So what we can do is take care of our bodies and our minds and our spirits,
So that we can be liberated from the societal,
Collective anxiety that lies within each of us,
Especially in this moment.
Start by taking a nice deep breath in with me.
Good.
You are welcome to enjoy this meditation either seated upright in a cushion with your spine nice and straight,
Or you're welcome to lay down,
Prop yourself up in some pillows,
Cocoon yourself in blankets,
Lay down on your bed or your couch or the grass,
Anywhere that feels nurturing to your body and your spirit.
Any way that you can become the most comfortable,
Do that now.
And as you settle your body in,
Again,
Let's take a nice deep breath.
Exhaling with a sigh,
And again,
Inhale.
Exhale with a sigh.
And let's take one more really deep breath,
Filling the body with fresh,
Pure oxygen.
Filling all the way up,
Sipping in all the air that you can.
When you think you've filled up all the way,
Fill up a little more,
Sip in a little bit more air,
Hold the breath at the top.
And release with a sigh.
Good.
Now as we begin,
I would invite you to place your left hand over your heart center,
Your right hand over your belly.
Begin to feel the warmth of your hands on your body,
Feeling that connection from the palms of your hands,
Moving into your body,
Feeling that loving touch.
Breathing into your hands,
Feeling your body rise underneath them.
Good.
Settling into this space,
Allowing the breath to rise and fall as I guide you through this practice.
Now,
Ask yourself,
Where in my body do the anxious feelings lie?
Open your body now and observe,
Where do I feel this anxious energy,
This feeling that we call and judge to be anxiety?
It may be in many spots in the body,
It may be in different places,
It may be very potently centered in one spot.
Notice where it is,
Have awareness around this space.
As you observe where this anxiety lies,
Give it a color,
Mask it in a color,
Surround it with a color of your choice,
And begin to see that anxious energy showing itself in your body through the form of this color,
Through the shape it creates,
What the energy looks like as it moves in your body,
And just bring awareness to where it is,
To where you're seeing it.
Go,
Really bringing your awareness to it,
Looking at the anxiety,
Feeling it.
Using this color to remind you that this is a foreign energy that is not in vibration with your highest good,
With your highest being,
But that it is something that we can learn from when it manifests in the body.
So just taking a few breaths here into that space where you feel it,
Breathing into it without trying to push it away,
Or judge it,
Or do anything with it,
But just breathing into it and having awareness around it,
Seeing it covered in this color,
Continuing to breathe into this space.
As you become more aware of where exactly this energy of anxiety lies,
Move your hands into where that energy,
That color is existing in your body,
Feeling the warmth of your hands beginning to penetrate the body,
Feeling the warm energy from your hands move into that color,
That anxious space,
That energy we are going to dissolve and transmute.
Breathing in,
Exhaling with a sigh,
As we begin to feel the warmth of the hands move into this space,
Feeling that healing energy that your own body creates moving from the palms of the hands into the color,
Into the anxious space in the body,
And beginning to visualize a beautiful,
Gorgeous,
Glowing light,
White,
Gold,
Whatever color you see,
This beautiful light flowing into your body,
Directly hitting this anxious energy,
Breathing into it,
Exhaling,
And as we're visualizing this light moving into the body,
We're seeing this light begin to dissolve those colors,
That anxiety you see,
And as we breathe into it,
We exhale to release it,
And we watch that color begin to dissolve into the light coming from the hands.
We begin to see that anxious energy dissipating into the hands,
Into the light,
Into the color.
Breathing in,
Exhaling to release.
Breathing in,
Exhaling to release.
Continuing in whatever way that feels good,
Allowing the light,
The healing light,
To enter the body through the hands,
To flood the body with beautiful,
Bright,
Gold,
And white light,
And with each exhale,
Releasing that anxious energy from the body,
Allowing the breath to act as a clearing for the body,
Allowing the energy from the hands to heal,
That energy that which you do not want,
And soon seeing the color of which you named your anxiety,
Completely dissipating from your body,
Dissolving into light,
Transmuting with each breath in,
And exhaling to release it,
Until soon your body is flooded with this beautiful,
Gold,
And white light flowing from your hands.
With each breath,
You're pulling the light through your body,
Up the chest,
Down the arms,
Down the legs,
Up through the skull,
Until your whole body is just bathing in this light that is flowing from the palms of your hands,
Really feeling the warmth,
The love,
The purity,
The freedom of this golden light.
Breathing into it,
Exhaling to just surrender to the sensations of this light,
Allowing the breath to flow through you,
Allowing that light to move past the confines of your body and expand around you,
Like an orb of light holding you,
Supporting you,
Loving you,
Nurturing your body,
Your spirit,
Your mind,
Cleansing the body of all energies that which you do not resonate with anymore in this higher vibration,
And just enjoying what this freedom,
This liberation,
This beautiful light flowing through your body feels like.
And beginning to repeat to yourself,
I am safe in my body.
I am safe in my body.
I am protected.
I am protected.
I have heightened awareness around my emotions and my energy flows,
And I can always come back to presence,
To light,
To purity.
I am currently being liberated from the anxiety in which I feel.
I know that it is not mine.
I know that it does not define me.
I am not an anxious person.
I am a calm person.
I am a joyful person.
I am living a life of freedom and bliss.
I am safe in my body.
I am protected.
All is well.
All is well.
All is well.
I feel bliss.
I feel unconditional love.
I feel light filling my body,
Flowing through me,
Renewing every cell of my body so that when I awake from this meditation,
I will be a new me with more light,
More ease,
Less worry.
And I will remember that if I begin to feel those anxious feelings again,
I am in control.
I am sovereign over my body,
And I can return to this space again and clear out any energies of which I do not want.
But until then,
I will remember I am safe.
I am protected.
I am light.
I am purity.
I am free.
I am liberated.
I am breathing in,
Breathing in again,
Exhaling with a sigh,
Exhaling with a sigh,
And breathing in one more full body breath,
Waking up your body,
Inviting fresh oxygen into your body,
And exhaling with a sigh or a sound or a tone or anything.
Breathing out,
Opening the eyes,
Looking around your space,
Looking down at your body,
Touching your skin,
Smiling,
Saying,
I feel good.
I am at peace now.
I will carry this light with me through the day.
I feel good.
Breathing in,
And thanking yourself for taking these 20 minutes to renew,
Restore,
Refresh,
And liberate yourself from these anxious feelings.
You are now liberated.
You are now free.
