
Journey To Remember Who You Are

This is a highly restorative and healing Yoga Nidra practice designed to help you release what is not yours and get clear on your values and who you are. This practice can be used as a reminder of our Human-ness and the simplicty of Being. Establish an intimate relationship with Self as you turn inwards. Note: There are opportunities to use a Sankalpa within this practice.

Welcome to this yoga nature practice.
This yoga nature practice is a journey of remembrance into the basics of being a human.
This is a journey into remembering who you are.
This practice is simple.
Lay your bones down comfortably resting on your back.
Create your own little cocoon of comfort.
That might mean you have a pillow or a bolster elevating your lower legs.
Or you might put on an eye mask or cover yourself with a blanket to get cozy.
Once you are settled,
Tune into your energetic body laying here on the ground.
Feel your energetic structures and adjust your frame to create space for smooth currents to flow through those energetic structures.
You don't have to know energetic anatomy to feel your energetic structures as you lay here.
It's a matter of shifting your awareness and choosing to tune into and feel this subtle layer of self.
We are made up of 99.
99999% space and energy.
So there is far more of you that is without form than there is of you that has form.
Tune into that aspect of your reality.
Almost immediately when you tune into the energetics of your body,
You go into a more expansive version of self.
And as a species in a state of evolution,
It will be our energy body that leads our progression.
There is something to discover that is beyond what you already know.
It's time to remember who you are.
You a soul living in a human body.
The soul and the body together make a human being.
These bodies we live in belong to a species of mammal living in a state of evolution here on this earth.
We are morphing and changing,
Evolving.
It almost feels like we are going through puberty as the evolution is happening very quickly right now.
You can see it in people.
You witness someone you love go through a major life transformation and their face changes.
They have a slightly different hue to them.
Their choice of language evolves.
Their habits change.
They start to care about the different inputs they allow into their body and in their field.
Maybe I'm describing you.
It's time to remember who you are.
In this incarnation,
You are an earthling.
You live in an earthling body suit which allows your soul to live on and experience this planet,
Earth.
This earthling form is designed to be in a perfect symbiotic relationship with the earth.
We are to be in an intimate relationship with this planet,
Awake and aware of all of its bounty and the position of us in the solar system.
The information and inputs we are choosing to fill ourselves with alters our health and evolution.
More people are waking up to an intimate relationship with their food and their plants.
Superfoods,
Tinctures,
Herbs,
The air you breathe and the water you drink all matter because you are getting more deeply embodied and you realize that this earth suit is capable of so much more than science has shown us so far.
And you are understanding more every day that this body you live in,
This soul house,
This home is made up of and grows from the things that you consume.
And so to feel good,
You're intuitively being guided to choose living food,
Intelligent food.
And anything that you consume is altering your physical,
Mental and emotional well-being.
So why not consciously choose to consume food and information that has an intelligence to it and evolve us.
In the same way that reading a book or watching a movie or any lived experience will alter the information storage house of your mind and influence how you operate in the world,
Choosing to consume intelligent plants will change the intelligence of your body and mind.
Food is body,
Emotion and mind altering.
And so we have work to do to purge out the information that we have consumed or been fed that is holding us back from our highest.
Some of you are even shifting who you're closest with as to shift your field of influence and alter your inputs of perception.
Modern physics has shown us that as soon as you start to pay attention to anything,
It changes.
It starts to change depending upon the intention you hold with it or project onto it.
If you hold the intention and clear vision of healing,
It will start to heal.
You project high vibrational thoughts on it and the object of your attention starts to increase its vibration.
So in this practice,
When we do a rotation of consciousness through the body,
By stating a high vibration intention at the beginning of the practice,
We choose the programming for the direction of transformation that your body mind will receive.
By paying attention to and feeling your body,
You release karma and raise your vibration and alter the pathway of your evolution.
We call this intention a sankalpa.
The sankalpa that you use in this practice is a potent information input or intelligence input that you are choosing to consume.
A sankalpa is made up of words and words carry a vibrational resonance.
So as you listen for your sankalpa,
You will choose words that are present,
Positive and embodyable.
For example,
I am healing or I am awake.
If you know that you are running a subconscious program that is limiting you such as I don't deserve to feel good or I don't deserve happiness or I am irrelevant,
Then you write a new program of the opposite.
I am healthy.
I am evolving.
I am valid.
I am significant.
I deserve happiness.
If you are working with a sankalpa already,
Please continue to use it until it manifests.
Once you have your sankalpa,
You begin to chant it internally a number of times.
Each time you offer this high vibrational input to your body,
You offer it to your mind.
Please deliver it with emotion to enhance the depths of its delivery.
It's time to explore your earth body suit.
Quiet your analytical mind by tuning into your attentive feeling body.
To unlock the mysteries of this body,
It must be felt.
As I name an area of your body,
Explore it by feeling it.
Begin on your right hand and feel your thumb.
Feel all four fingers of your right hand,
Palm of your hand,
Back of your hand.
Feel your whole entire hand with the highest capacity of awareness and attention.
And now expand that attention and feel your whole entire right arm from your fingertips all the way to your shoulder and underarm.
Feel your whole right arm.
Feel the right side of your torso,
Your ribs,
Waistline,
Your hip.
Feel the whole right leg from your hip to your heel.
Feel your right ankle,
Top of your right foot,
Sole of the right foot,
And all five toes.
Concentrate your awareness into your right foot.
And then expand that out so you feel the whole right side of your body.
Hold the entire right side of your body in your awareness.
Now move your attention to your left thumb and concentrate your awareness into your left thumb.
Feel all four fingers of your left hand,
Palm of your hand,
Back of the hand.
Feel your whole left hand.
Pull your attention into your left hand.
And to expand that,
To feel your whole left arm from your fingertips to your shoulder and underarm.
Feel the left side of your torso,
Your ribs,
Your waistline,
Your hip.
Feel your whole left leg from your hip to your heel.
Feel your ankle,
Top of the left foot,
Sole of your foot,
And all five toes.
Concentrate your awareness into your left foot.
Now flood your attention into the whole entire left side of your body.
Feel all of your attention and awareness filling the left side of your body now.
Whole left side.
You will feel the back plane of your body now balancing your attention evenly between the left and right sides.
Feel the soles of both of your feet together.
The back of your heels.
Your calves.
Feel the backs of both of your knees.
Hamstrings.
Your whole buttocks.
Feel the back of your pelvis.
Start to illuminate your spine beginning at your tailbone,
Your sacrum,
The low back,
Mid back,
And upper back.
Feel the curve of your neck.
Eliminate your whole entire spine and then feel your ribs coming out the sides of your spine and wrapping around your chest.
Feel the back of your head.
Now feel the crown of your head.
Your forehead.
Your right eyebrow.
Your left eyebrow.
Both eyebrows together.
Your brow center or your third eye.
Both sets of eyelids.
Your right eyeball.
Left eyeball.
Both eyeballs together.
Then feel all three eyes together.
Your two seeing eyes and your third eye with balanced awareness.
Feel the bridge of your nose.
Both nostrils.
The tip of your nose.
Your whole nose.
Feel your cheekbones together and allow that to widen your breath passageway.
Feel both ears.
From your ears,
Feel both sides of your jaw and follow your jaw to your chin.
Feel your lower row of teeth and your upper row of teeth.
Your tongue and the roof of your mouth.
Feel your upper lip and your lower lip.
And now your whole mouth from your lips and your jaw all the way to your tongue and your teeth.
Then feel your whole face.
Feel both of your ears simultaneously.
And then feel the space between your ears.
This is the home of your pineal and pituitary gland.
The root of your third eye.
From that very center part of your head,
Travel down the central channel into the center of your throat.
Explore the inner world of the center of your throat,
Both from a physical and an energetic perspective.
Continue traveling down the center of your throat into the center of your chest.
Feel your right lung and the left lung.
And both lungs together.
In your lungs,
Slightly left of center,
You'll feel your physical beating heart.
Feel your whole chest from both a physical and energetic perspective.
From the center of your heart,
Travel to the other side of your diaphragm.
Just below where your front ribs end.
This is your solar plexus.
Feel it in the organs of the upper abdominals.
Feel the whole upper abdominal area.
Continue traveling down until you feel your navel center and land in the space between your navel and your pubic bone.
Feel the organs of your lower abdominals and belly.
And feel your pelvic floor.
Feel the front of both of your thighs,
Both kneecaps,
Both shins.
Feel the tops of both of your feet.
Now feel both legs together.
So now you feel the entire lower half of your body.
You feel from your waistline down to your toes.
Add to that the upper half of your body,
Your torso,
Your arms all the way to your hands.
So now you feel from your shoulders all the way down to your fingers and feet.
Add your head,
Your throat,
Your face.
So now your whole entire body is filled with and wrapped with your awareness.
Your whole body.
Whole body.
Choose a number between 15 and 20.
You'll start counting down from the number you choose to count your breath backward.
Inhale and exhale are the same count.
If you lose track of where you are,
Start again.
You'll travel now to your third eye.
Go to the root of your third eye where we mapped earlier.
I'm referring to the space between your ears,
The home of your pineal and pituitary glands.
We'll move into the mental emotional body by playing with pairs of opposites.
What I name,
You'll allow yourself to feel,
Perhaps a memory of it or an imaginary experience of it,
Allow yourself to feel it and allow yourself to observe what comes up in relation to what is named.
There may be sensations or symbols,
Emotions or story,
And you'll remain still as the witness to all of it.
Imagine or recall a time when you felt very compliant.
You followed the rules,
Did what you were told to fit into society's organization or a family organization,
Like an obedience.
What does it feel like to behave this way?
What does it bring up for you?
What emotions?
Thought forms?
Any sensations?
Compliance.
And now travel across the spectrum and feel your inner rebel come alive.
Or recall a time when you were very rebellious.
What does that feel like?
Where does that inner rebel live?
Now go back to your third eye,
That place of neutrality.
Call forth or remember a time or imagine being stifled in your expression of self,
Feeling unable to be you,
Perhaps wearing a mask to please or appease someone else.
What does that feel like?
What comes up with that?
To be something you are not or unable to express yourself.
And then move across the spectrum and feel a time when or imagine the ability to freely express who you truly are.
It's a radical freedom of expression,
Completely uninhibited.
What does it feel like to be true to you?
Move back into your third eye.
Turn to a place of wholeness.
Accept yourself as you are,
Who you are,
Integrating all parts of yourself into wholeness.
Every part of you is welcome here right now,
Perfectly imperfect,
Whole,
Healthy and healing.
We'll move into the creative,
Intuitive psychic body.
Experience your awareness in your third eye.
I'll name something or describe a situation and you'll visualize it.
Simple.
You're in a room mostly white and you see a door.
You quickly learn that you're being guided on a journey.
There are a series of doors and at each door there is a different request.
On the other side of one of these doors is a gift for you that will help you on your journey to awakening.
There's only one door in this room,
So you step up to it.
To unlock the first door you are asked,
What are you leaving behind?
You can leave anything that no longer serves you,
Anything that is holding you back or weighing you down.
This could be a belief system,
A habit,
A human,
A way of being.
Name that which you are releasing.
Lay it down,
Release it.
Once you do,
The door opens.
What are you releasing?
The next room feels nice and you feel lighter.
You can tell you're on the right path.
There's another door.
Here you are asked,
What do you most value in life?
You'll name your top three values.
Examples could be devotion or gratefulness or patience,
But it's unique to you.
You'll name one and then feel it with every fiber of your being.
You'll spend a moment feeling it before moving on to the next one.
Go ahead.
What do you value?
The door opens.
This room feels even lighter and you can feel your frequency rising.
Here in this room,
It is decorated with simple beauty.
You feel great in here.
You walk up to the door and you're asked to release a stream of spontaneous thought.
Any thoughts,
Just allow whatever thoughts are present to move and express.
Let them fly free now.
The door opens.
The next room is lit only by a projector casting light on a screen on the opposite wall.
You lay down on the couch across from the screen.
As the door you just walked through closes,
The room goes dark.
You tap back into your third eye for guidance and you begin to receive these visuals.
Two eagles looking in opposite directions.
White sheets hanging on a clothesline blowing in the wind.
The yin-yang symbol.
Siamese twins.
A fork in the road.
A half-eaten piece of bread.
A jellyfish.
A woman carefully counting beans in a jar.
A man talking in his sleep.
Pastel flags fluttering in the breeze.
A magician wearing a live snake for a belt.
The northern lights dancing in the night sky.
The northern lights.
The northern lights.
Your kidneys.
A red garnet ring.
Garnet is glowing.
That garnet transports you back into your third eye where you telepathically receive a message.
The message is coming from your higher guidance system.
It says to you,
Your sankalpa.
You hear your sankalpa and then you begin to repeat it a number of times,
Realizing that the truth,
The embodiment of that sankalpa is already a part of who you are.
Upon repeating your sankalpa,
You feel yourself melting into the earth below you and a wave of healing moves through your whole body.
You are healing.
You are whole.
In time,
You begin to feel your body again.
You feel this earthling suit.
Really feel it.
Allow the part of you that feels to stretch out into the corners of this earth suit until it starts to move and stretch.
You move your eyeballs inside your eye sockets from side to side or up and down.
You move the bones of your fingers inside your skin and stretch your toes towards the edges.
Your arms eventually reach above your head and you expand in every single direction.
Then roll over to your right hand side into the fetal position,
Drawing your knees nice and close to your chest and turning your heart towards the earth.
You pause here and you feel your body,
Not just the physicality of it,
But the energy,
The currency,
The movement of this subtle field that is also you.
You notice the relationship between you and the ground.
You mindfully root your palms into the earth and roll yourself up to your seat,
Letting your back lead the way and have your head be the last to rise and you sit comfortably.
You notice the quality of your nervous system,
The quality of your mind and your heart.
You bring your palms to meet up in front of your heart and you remember you're a human being,
An earthling,
A soul traveling through the solar system on planet earth for a time in this earthling body suit.
Welcome back.

Deeply relaxing practice. I felt that I was both both present and drifting into a semi awake state throughout the meditation. I appreciated the detailed body scan with focus on feeling energy; it was a different way being with and in my body. The visualization practice of moving through rooms to let go and reconnect with what matters was so helpful. I went back to relisten to that portion of the meditation so it could settle in just a bit more. At the end of the meditation I felt so relaxed and very much at peace, with my top core values at the forefront of my mind.
