Guided meditation around reframing true vs. truth, and holding the potential for our personal truth to have a new field to express in rather than dying amongst the chaos. Finding where our truth lives in our body, we can then use this as a grounding post to build from regardless of the external world.

So finding yourself in a comfortable position with your back straight.

If you're sitting on the ground,

Feeling your bottom,

Your legs,

Feel how they hit the cushion or the mat or the floor.

And if you're sitting in a chair feeling how the feet hit the ground.

And just for a few breaths,

Turning your hands down so you can feel the heat of your palms on your legs.

You can maybe rub your legs a little bit,

Just making some contact.

Bringing the energy into the body,

Dropping out of the mind.

And when you feel that you've arrived,

That you're here in this space and time,

You can either leave your hands facing down,

Turn them up or put them in your lap.

Whatever is comfortable.

Closing the eyes and beginning to breathe through the nose.

If you need to take a few inhales in the nose and exhale out to release a little pressure,

A little tension,

Go ahead and do that.

And then come back to breathing in and out of the nose with a straight spine and a relaxed body.

Bringing your focus down to the second chakra,

The sacral chakra.

Relax around the pubic bone.

Becoming aware of the connection of the second chakra to the third chakra,

The solar plexus at the navel.

And from the connection at the navel up to the heart,

In the middle of the chest.

The associated colors usually in the main understanding of chakras are the orange of the sacral chakra,

The golden yellow of the solar plexus and the green of the heart.

So if you're a visual person and that helps to locate the region in which these chakras sit these points,

Energetic points in the body.

Then you can envision the colors.

This is your main area where we get so much information,

Intuitive information,

Instinctual information,

Energetic information.

And right now the whole world is being shaken,

Stirred up.

Often it's hard to find the grounding point,

The root chakra that's located at the base of the spine.

Many people feel that there's no place to actually put their feet down.

There's confusion,

There's chaos,

Uncertainty.

And one of the hardest parts about not being able to ground is because so many things that we believed were true are coming up for questioning.

The people who we believed held the truth are coming up for questioning.

And truth is a grounding point from truth we can build.

But when it feels like we don't know where the truth is or just when we feel we have a grasp on the truth,

We receive more information that brings it into question again.

And so it can throw our whole life into this waving emotional roller coaster.

And so I'm wondering if we can perhaps shift perspective on what's true and what's truth.

Something may be true today,

But tomorrow it may not be true.

We may gain different information that what we held as true today is no longer true tomorrow or next week or next year.

We're seeing this a lot with our history,

What we thought was true,

And then learning more information and it's no longer true.

Or maybe there's grains of truth,

But it's not as solid as we once believed.

So maybe we can identify all of this as being true.

But the truth,

Perhaps with a capital T,

Perhaps we can hold the truth within ourselves.

And this truth will not change.

For instance,

If my truth is that there is goodness in the heart of humanity,

In the essence of humanity,

There is goodness,

No matter what is happening externally,

I continue to hold that truth within me.

And instead of looking at how the world around us has shattered so many of our beliefs around what's true,

Instead of looking at it as destruction,

Perhaps we can look at it as a new field of truth in which the truth gets to rise again.

And so if my truth has not changed in this new world,

There is open possibility,

Open potential for how the goodness of humanity can bloom in ways that we have never seen before,

That we never expected.

So instead of looking at it as if it has been destroyed,

Can we shift to see that now destruction brings rebirth,

Recreation?

How can my truth now bloom in this new world?

If my truth is that this life is worth living,

That truth will not change regardless of what happens externally.

My truth is that life is a precious gift,

And I've lived my life in a certain way up until now.

And then there's been this massive change all around me,

And now I have this new canvas to experience this precious life within,

New ways to explore and understand this precious life.

Can you find your truth?

What's true is in the mind,

But your truth lives in your body.

Some may feel it in the sacral.

Some may feel it in the solar plexus.

Some may feel it in the heart.

When you think of a truth of yours,

Where do you feel it?

Can you feel it in the body?

We all know there's much to do in this world.

There's much healing to come after everything that's gone on in this year.

We can have an understanding that things may even need to dip down further before they come up.

That if you can shift the perspective around destruction,

And look at it as potential,

A new open field in which to live in,

A new base in which to stand in your truth,

A chance to wipe the slate clean from the programs and conditioning that we've received,

And to come back into our body,

Come back into our truth,

Build from our truth.

If you can locate that truth,

Breathe into that space.

Energy flows where attention goes.

Breathe into that space.

Make that your focal point.

Every day,

Whenever you think about it,

Whether you're sitting for meditation,

Or just doing dishes,

Or playing with your children outside,

And you think about it,

This is my truth.

Breathe into that space.

Give it some fuel.

Keep it in the body.

Don't let the mind grab it and say,

But but but and then follow the energy.

Where are you being nudged to?

Where are you being pulled away from and pushed towards?

Even the smallest little nudges.

Notice the body's natural impulses when you're hungry,

When you're thirsty,

When you need to go to the bathroom.

Natural impulses,

Follow them.

And then when you get nudges to walk a certain way,

To wear a certain shirt,

Even the most simple nudges,

Follow them.

It's like a muscle.

The more you use it,

The stronger it will become.

So breathing into the body.

Taking a deep breath in,

Opening the mouth and letting the breath out.

One more breathing in,

Letting the breath out of the mouth.

Once again,

Letting the palms,

The heat of the palms,

Rub the legs,

Maybe bringing them to your heart space or to your solar plexus or down to the pubic area.

Taking contact.

And as you're ready,

Coming back.
