Transcript
Pivoting.
We have this choice.
I like to see it like a fork in the road.
And our old programs that are fierce,
They grab all of us,
The defense mechanisms,
The neural pathways,
Go in that direction.
And then we're standing at that fork in the road,
And we're like,
Okay,
I'm going to be I'm going to allow myself to be a sovereign being meaning no one else has power over my existence,
Which can seem really confusing when we grow up in a world like ours,
But it takes time to move,
Move,
Pivot into that new direction,
And make a conscious choice from a place of power to,
Hey,
This is what I would rather create in my life.
Now,
I've been on this deep spiritual journey for 10 years,
It's not always easy.
And so I share these conversations always because we're all in this together and it doesn't mean that we're broken or that we're like something's wrong with us if our patterns keep coming back and we're like,
You know,
Like I have people call me for one on one coaching all the time and they're like,
I've been to all these healers and all these coaches and I still have x,
Y and z.
I think we all have something we come in to learn,
You know,
I don't know,
But it's just my sense from doing this work for a while and working with so many people like we have a challenge and that thing just keeps coming back and that neural pathway is just grooved.
And it can seem I remember for years,
I was in this mentality of,
I think I must have felt defeated,
Because I was like,
I think I'm just supposed to be this way.
Like,
I don't know how to change this.
I've tried everything for some things that were in my life.
And if we believe those thoughts,
Then we don't keep that door open but luckily enough there's always been this deeper knowing and the spirit and the striving force in me,
That's in all of us.
That's like,
That's just a thought.
That's just a pattern in my brain.
That's just a collective belief.
And when you remember who you are and this can sound disorienting because you grow up like this being taught these scientific and spiritual principles and human principles,
You know like gravity it's like that's a principle.
And if we're not taught who we are that we have choice that we can co-create with the energy that makes the stars.
We do think,
Oh my god this is handed down to me.
And then modern day lingo is how do I cope.
And that's so sad.
Because you are so much more than needing to just cope.
It takes a year,
A year,
Two years,
Years to move through what you're moving through.
But you can,
The key word there is move through.
Get to the other side,
Heal.
The next book in me I've always had this title healable.
Because I see it all the time I see miracles and people that I work with one on one all the time.
And I feel like moving from something they thought they were stuck in forever because it's just the brain telling you that so just know that just fork in the road moment that you see yourself and every day that's going to feel fierce going to feel like salmon swimming upstream.
Just slow down.
You don't have to do this to just slow down breathe,
Feel your feet on the ground.
And I got to the point where it was like,
This is so uncomfortable this old way and I don't know what the new way is,
I don't even know if I can trust a new way.
But this old ways gotta go,
Because it hurts.
Anything sustainable on this little human body that I got.
So you slow down.
And you begin to be become aware of and observe the old pattern,
Hey fear,
Hey anxiety hey sadness,
Whatever it is,
And you choose because it's unconscious it's just running in a loop in your brain,
Just it's just doing its job like a computer.
And it's so invisible to us that we're just like yep that's real that's reality that's me that's my life I feel it.
But hey we feel our neurons we feel our neural pathways so of course we feel it.
What we feel is just telling us where our thoughts going.
It's just a beautiful barometer of like,
Oh interesting that's what got created that's what got handed down to me.
Great.
Now I know the direction I'm pointed.
Do I want to continue that reality because I have this awesome free will.
If I do great keep letting those neurons run if I don't I slow down and I go,
Oh hey.
Hey this and it's like I observe it and I take my power back and I see it.
Over time,
This neuron will realize he doesn't need us anymore she doesn't need us anymore.
She's not unconsciously,
Going in that direction.
I'm taking my power back and being a conscious creator and going okay.
I don't know what else there is like I've taught this lesson before No thank you thank you I wonder.
And this is something that you can do with like okay no,
No thank you really uncomfortable thing that's been handed down to me.
It feels like a pattern that I've heard my whole life.
No thank you.
I'm sorry.
Thank you for so you say thank you for keeping me safe and being the defense mechanism that kept me safe.
Thank you.
No thank you.
Like I realized who I am now,
No one told me in school I could change this,
That my brain is plastic that I'm not not to be stuck in suffering that I can expand and I can grow and it can different than the people that were raised around me and still be loved so thanks.
You did keep me safe and no thanks.
I'm so curious what else is available for me.
This is the brave part this is the surrender part.
And then I wonder,
So as an opening.
I wonder what I really believe about this what other thoughts are possible right now.
How else I could feel safe,
Other than this loop running wonder what other possibility of thought could come in.
So we don't have to have the answer.
We're just opening and allowing something new to come through.
And then we've created that space in our brain that space in our energy field on all levels,
Or something new to flow down the river to you.
And then as it does your brain finds proof of the new stuff.
And then it instills a new confidence and that old neural pathway goes,
Hey,
I don't need to hang on so tight.
They got something else that's good.
So you're in charge and you're running the ship.
Be patient,
Can take this can happen in a day and this can happen over years in a lifetime.
So let's meditate.
You can retrain your brain.
Let's prune some of that old junk.
Put your music on if you want and Jessica since you're new here let me,
Let me get you a link.
While everybody's getting comfy so just yeah,
Lay down.
There's no right or wrong way to sit,
There's no right or wrong way to lay.
Just get comfortable.
Music on in the background.
And while I'm pulling up this link.
You can start to deepen the breath so most of the time when we're running around in these old survival patterns,
Which again remember this is so normal,
Like there doesn't need to be any guilt or shame if you've been,
I mean I was in fight or flight for years.
So,
It's okay.
We're all normal in our society.
Shouldn't be but it's okay no shame if you find yourself here it's just like okay,
This is,
This is just what what I've been taught.
And now I'm going to be patient with myself.
So,
We breathe into the chest,
Breathe into the upper chest and run fight or flight.
But when we are in rest or digest we breathe down into the belly.

Okay.
So,
We breathe deep breath down into the belly at least three deep breaths so this is a little magic trick three belly breaths,
Three times a day so if you want to remember when you're eating breakfast lunch and dinner,
It's like when I finished or before I start,
Hand on my heart hand on my belly.
Breathe down into the belly retrain that nervous system to relax.
I'm in charge now.
I was in charge so just got these computer programs run in the show but I am so much more than computer programs.
Spirit and a heart and a being and a light.
And I have my own unique soul essence,
My unique energetic imprint.
And that is worth fighting for finding that and taking those moments and overriding the systems and getting to know those deeper feelings that just feel true and resonant to you like,
Oh,
This is me.
This is home.
Into the belly and release.
Into the valley and release.
Just feel that physical connection between the body and the space underneath of you slowly,
Allowing your body to catch up to your being.
We don't have to force anything,
We don't have to control,
We just have to gently invite,
It's like I'm over here.
And I'm going to do this and brain when you're ready body when you're ready you'll you'll catch up.
And I'm going to consistently create this new internal set point for myself.
I'm going to relax in full trust knowing that you'll catch on to my new commands,
Because that's how a brain works.
We slow down,
Slowing down,
Breathing into the belly.
And those eyes soften.
Body relax.
And just see yourself you're at that fork in the road.
You're at that fork in the road now and moments throughout the day where you're being given a choice,
As you are that powerful.
Do I want to go down the road of what has been handed to me by those that didn't understand the love in its fullest form unconditional love,
Innocently.
Do I want to go down the road of getting to know myself,
My passions my heart,
My warm my light,
My potential my peace my divinity.
Do I want to go down this familiar path of pain,
Or do I want to open up to the unknown path of delight.
Overriding my brain saying brain I know I know you have my back and you're trying to keep us safe but you relax now baby kid you relax.
I'm here now.
Feel that in your bones.
I'm here.
Now,
Feel yourself coming back into your body.
Coming back into your heart.
Coming back into your path.
Coming back into your purpose.
Coming back into your light.
Coming back into your own unique essence that only you bring into a room.
Breathing into the belly.
Slowing down.
Really soft eyes.
Really soft body.
Allowing and accepting as best as you can where you are right now.
How you feel,
What's been created.
As it isn't personal it's just information.
Information as to what you've innocently believe to be true.
Information as to what you've understood about who you really are and how the brain works and how life works.
Patterns.
Information.
Body relaxes as you see this truth.
I'm coming up now I'm seeing more now.
I am here now.
As if there is an adult in the room.
There isn't a little wounded child who we love with compassion and understanding but there is an adult here now.
A wise adult,
A connected adult.
That sees the three year old,
The five year old,
The seven year old who was in pain and says I hear you,
I see you.
But you relax now.
The past is over.
You made it through.
And you can handle anything.
You are resilient.
And you deserve to rest now.
You deserve good now.
You deserve to plug into the energy that created you to bring in more support,
More ease,
More love,
More grace.
Regardless of external conditions.
And so the little one disengages.
Maybe you even see them curl up and take a nap,
Like thank you I can,
I can rest now you're here.
I can tend to my wounds I can feel I can release I can be a kid now.
Adult me is here.
You feel the safety of that presence.
That powerful being that is you that is taking up the space in your body now that is taking up the space in your brain,
In your energy field now.
This causes your body to relax and your nervous system to let go a little bit more.
And you find yourself here.
Just here just this gentle breaths,
Moving in and out of the belly.
As you feel this excitement in surrendering to something that is beautiful on the other side of what you've known.
A space that's filled with unlimited potential and light and warmth.
A space which we find when we let go just a little bit.
I'm willing to let go of who I thought I was.
To create the tiniest of space.
For the light to peek through who I really am.
Who I was before the programs.
Totally whole totally complete totally human.
Plugged in,
Aligned.
Me.
And I want you to take this moment to pull up in front of you.
A neural groove that you've had for quite some time.
Usually feels like protection or fear.
Control.
An outdated system that doesn't feel warm or like a knowing or expansive but feels like a repetitive computer program.
That isn't wisdom.
That is an over exerted loop in the brain.
Confusing you.
Trying to keep you safe so pull it up in front of you.
What is it for you?
You can feel it now perhaps or often.
You just you don't need to dive into it you just notice it in front of you.
Oh hey.
Hey pattern.
Thank you for keeping me safe when I needed you before I plugged in to my body before I took over the space that is me.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
But I am here now.
So no thank you.
No thank you anymore.
I'm sending you off with love.
As it is time to be transmuted into something else.
I am ready to evolve into who I came here to be in the most safe gentle of ways.
So no thank you.
I know it may be sad because we've known each other our whole lives.
But I deserve better now.
And I know that you know that.
So I send you off with love and gratitude.
Like graduating from high school to college I don't need to stay in high school.
I'm excited to go to college.
Thank you high school.
College here I come.
I got a whole life ahead of me.
You're just a rut in my brain at this point.
My unconscious mind is sending my conscious mind and body very incorrect messages.
The content of this pattern doesn't mean anything.
The feeling is alerting me to the fact that I'm caught up in a rut.
And I'm allowing my conscious mind to override this unconscious rut.
This overprotective mechanism.
That is firing on repeat.
That is causing a whole bunch of cross wiring in my system.
And I'm using the power of my own choice.
To rewire this in my brain now.
As I choose to let this go.
Thank you.
No thank you anymore.
I'm graduating.
And what lies ahead is far better.
Than what I experienced with you.
As I feel an expansion in my being.
I choose to rewire this.
So what do I choose?
And I want you just to lastly let an image pop into your mind,
A memory or use your imagination of a feeling you've wanted instead.
Peace,
Joy,
Love,
Connection.
Appreciation,
Awe,
Wonder,
Ecstasy,
Pleasure.
Let a memory of a time that you felt that way come into your mind or just imagine what would it feel like to have that feeling for no reason at all.
And allow this memory,
This feeling,
This imagination to move through your body.
Let it fill your whole body.
Feel it.
Dive into it.
Bathe in it.
As we send our brain new signals of what we want to feel.
Breathe into this new feeling.
The brain knows no difference between what we think and feel right now and what we experience in the world.
So pour this medicine into your body,
Into your brain.
What color is this energy?
Let this color expand through your body.
Your whole body is this color as if with a snap of my fingers,
No time,
No space.
Your whole body is painted this expanding two feet around you on all sides.
You are this energy.
As you draw this into you energetically and on a brain level,
As you will start to find proof of this new experience.
I open my mind.
I wonder,
I wonder who I am.
I wonder what my heart wants.
I wonder what my path is.
I wonder what other thoughts I can feel that are safe.
I wonder as I feel open,
I breathe down to the belly once more.
Becoming deeply aware that I am in my body.
I am behind my eyes and planted into my body.
I'm in my breath.
I'm in the color of this new energy.
And I can feel my body connected to the furniture underneath and behind me.
I slowly return to the day as I begin to bring some physical movement back into my body,
Stretching and wiggling behind my eyes,
In my body,
In my breath.
Opening your eyes whenever you're ready.
