Hi there,

This is a guided meditation to help you start your morning.

You can come to a comfortable seated position in traditional meditation style with your legs out in front of you,

In your bed,

On a chair,

Or you can even lie down,

Whatever works best for you.

If you are seated,

Sit with a straight spine,

Roll your shoulders back,

Bring your chin towards your chest,

And bring your palms to face up or down on your legs.

And take a deep breath in,

Filling your belly with air like a balloon.

Exhale the sigh,

Letting everything go.

Inhale again,

Filling your belly with air.

And this time as you exhale,

Let all the breath out,

Letting your belly button go back towards your spine.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Continue taking full deep breaths,

Allowing your body,

Your mind,

And your spirit to become more calm,

Relaxed,

And at ease.

When thoughts come to you,

Simply acknowledge them without giving them too much attention or energy.

You can put them in a bubble and let them float away from you.

You can imagine they're in a river,

Floating by.

And then gently bring your focus and your awareness back to your breathing and back to the present moment.

And take a moment to scan your body,

Starting from the top of your head and going down to notice if you are holding onto any tension anywhere.

And if you are,

Relax those areas of your body,

Like the space between your eyebrows,

Your jaw,

Your shoulders.

Invite your entire body to be as relaxed and at ease as possible.

And now I have a few affirmations,

And you can repeat them to yourself as you continue to breathe.

As I breathe in and out,

I am setting the tone for a great day.

I release yesterday and bring my focus to the present moment.

I do my best and allow that to be enough.

Whatever I get done today is enough.

I am capable of handling whatever challenges come my way today.

I choose peace,

Joy,

Harmony,

Love,

And gratitude today.

I release lower vibrating energy and vibrate higher.

I got this.

As you continue breathing,

Allow those words to be taken in.

Just feel your body and your mind and your spirit with them.

And if you would like,

You can also take some time to just visualize not only what you want to happen for you today,

But also how you want to feel throughout your day.

So take some time to visualize it in your mind's eye and try to cultivate the feelings that you want to experience today.

And now you can gently breathe in.

Bring yourself back to the present moment and where you are.

And you can start to wiggle your fingers and toes,

Move around a little bit.

And then bring your hands to your heart in prayer position and just take a moment to reflect on one thing that you're grateful for.

And if you would like,

You can take this moment to set an intention for your day today,

Something you might want to focus on,

A feeling you want to have,

A mantra,

An affirmation.

And if you have something,

Just repeat it to yourself.

Thank you so much for practicing with me.

Have an amazing day.

Namaste and ashay.

And whenever you're ready,

You can open your eyes and start your morning.

I really enjoyed the pauses! The instructor is constantly talking in a lot of guided meditations (I get it-they’re guided right) that I’ve done here, and it was very refreshing to sit in silence, to immerse myself in the gaps. I also liked the string finish, closing out with some affirmations and setting our intentions for the day.
