Welcome to this peaceful grounding process.
Take a moment to find a quiet space and make yourself as comfortable as possible.
You may sit or lie down.
If it feels safe to do so,
Close down your eyes or simply soften your gaze.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Begin connecting with your breathing,
Following the flow of your inhale and your exhale.
See if the breath can let out a sigh or extend the exhale.
Offering this choice for two to three rounds.
Perhaps a sound needs to be released with the breath.
Just allow the breath to guide you.
There are no set rules to be followed here.
Keeping that awareness on the breath,
Just notice the inhale and the exhale.
Simply noticing is all that you have to do.
Just following the natural movement and rhythm of the breath.
Allow it to flow as it needs to at this moment.
Now inviting the breath to share what it needs.
It may need to slow down and soften.
Perhaps there is a fullness and expansion to be felt behind the ribcage that will support this softening and slowness.
Letting yourself feel into the softening and slowness of the breath.
Just continue to notice that connection with the breath,
As you now invite the body to soften and relax.
Perhaps a little gentle movement through the shoulders and the neck or the hips is supportive at this time.
Reminding the body that it does not need to remain perfectly still.
Just inviting softness and openness through the body.
Allow the breath to continue flowing with ease and grace.
Notice your connection to the seat beneath you and let your body sink a little more deeply into the seat.
Feel the support of gravity holding your body.
Allow the body to let go just a little bit more as it relaxes into this relationship with gravity.
Let yourself be in connection with your breath and your body.
Simply breathing and being here in this moment.
Set the intention now to invite a feeling of peace to enter your body with each breath.
Maybe the feeling of peace is represented by a colour.
That colour carries the vibration of peace with each inhale.
Maybe a scene from nature invites a remembering of a peaceful feeling state.
Just allow this peaceful feeling to flow to you in your own unique way.
Allow that feeling to move to any areas of the body holding tension or feeling stuck.
Again,
Let out a sigh or extend the exhale,
Giving the breath choice at this moment.
Notice the body soften and settle a little more as it bathes in this feeling state of peace.
Continue inviting in the feeling of peace with your breath.
Allow peace to wash over your body and through your body.
Not with the intention to fix anything,
But simply inviting peace to flow wherever is needed right now.
Letting it cleanse and refresh you and noticing space,
Expansion and openness in the body.
Just breathing,
Just being,
Just inviting peace.
Place a hand on your heart centre and notice the connection between your breath and your body.
Bring your awareness to the space residing behind your breastbone.
This is your heart space.
Breathe in peace through this heart space.
Noticing the intention for it to be received and welcomed.
Allow these peaceful waves to gently ripple through this heart space,
Through your body and around your body.
Notice gravity holding and supporting you as you ground into this peaceful connection.
Allow the breath to anchor this peaceful feeling into your body,
Into the heart space.
As you go about your day,
Place your hand on your heart centre.
Let it serve as a reminder of this peaceful connection between your breath and your body.
Give yourself permission to invite peace into your body and lovingly receive that for yourself.
I wish you a peaceful day.
