Welcome to this guided practice,
Connecting you to your heart chakra with the support of the air element.
The heart chakra is positioned at the center of your chest.
As we begin,
Find yourself a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Begin to gently move your body as it relaxes into position.
You may like to roll your shoulders a few times,
Allowing the front of your chest to open and soften.
Invite your breath to slow down and find a gentle,
Steady rhythm.
Bring your awareness to the center of your chest,
To the heart space.
Place a hand on your heart center and take a full breath in through your nose and let go out through your mouth with a sigh.
You may choose to keep your hand here or let it rest back into your lap.
Take a moment to visualize a relaxing,
Open space.
This could be by the ocean,
A wide open field full of flowers,
Or perhaps the top of a mountain.
Trust where your heart's intuition guides you today.
When you feel ready,
Take an intentional,
Cleansing inhale of the breath.
As you do,
Notice the air move through your nose into your lungs as your ribcage expands.
Feel the air move back out through your mouth on the exhale.
With each breath,
Noticing that cleansing,
Fresh air moving through your body.
Again,
You may feel called to place a hand on the center of your chest.
As you connect to this heart space,
Letting yourself breathe with awareness.
Notice this fresh new energy moving into the heart space.
Notice it moving through the front of the body,
The back of the body,
The sides of the body.
Allowing this air to circulate and move.
Creating a freshness and a newness in this space.
While you are connected to this heart,
You may like to ask for a fresh perspective on a situation and see what is lovingly shared with you.
Trusting that your heart's intuitive wisdom will share anything that is needed for your highest good.
Keep breathing and feeling into this heart connection.
You may like to ask the air element of wind to elevate you to view this fresh perspective as it carries you out of your head and back into your heart.
The heart is the doorway of your deep intuitive wisdom.
You may choose to sit here and stay connected with your heart,
Allowing that air to move through your body.
Continuing to invite a fresh perspective,
A fresh new way of being.
Allowing any stagnant energy or stuck energy to move up and out through the mouth.
When you decide to draw this practice to a close,
Just allow the breath to find its own natural rhythm.
Allow the air element to return you to your breath and heart connection throughout your day.
