This is Tanya Murphy.

Thank you so much for joining me today for this encouragement and centering prayer.

This is the day the Lord has made.

I will rejoice and be glad in it.

Today,

I choose to rejoice,

Fully living and embodying gratitude for all you are,

Lord,

And for all you've done and everything you're doing.

I rejoice.

I rejoice because you first loved me.

I rejoice.

I rejoice because of your unfailing kindness.

I rejoice.

I rejoice because you are my strength.

I rejoice.

I rejoice because of your mercy.

I rejoice.

I rejoice because of your forever extended forgiveness.

I rejoice.

I rejoice because of your grace.

I rejoice.

I rejoice because you are healing.

I rejoice.

I rejoice because you are my peace.

I rejoice.

I rejoice because my hope rests in you.

I rejoice.

I rejoice because you challenge me to greater.

I rejoice.

I rejoice because you surround me with tender care.

I rejoice.

I rejoice because of your gentle correction.

I rejoice.

I rejoice because of Christ.

I rejoice.

This is the day the Lord has made.

I will rejoice and be glad in it.

Now allow your soul to rest in this prayer for just a moment as we repeat the mantra,

Rejoice.

Can we rest in silence for just a moment as we remember we have so much to rejoice about?

I will rejoice in the Lord.

I will be joyful in the God of my salvation.

For this is the day the Lord has made.

I will rejoice and be glad in it.
