This Meditation (and some variations of it) is the first that I teach to those new to the practice. The secret to a wonderful and 'relatively easy' first time experience is to make just two changes to how you may typically breathe that will allow you to experience your breath as awareness (and to be able to focus your attention more easily). Experience this Meditation to change your state into one of relaxation, calm, and inner peace. *This is also a wonderful Meditation for those experienced in the practice, as a way of being reminded of the importance of being present with breath as what allows for our awareness.
