Each time we move out of balance we can return to a place of focus simply by returning to our breath, and to the present moment. You do this by becoming mindful of each breath. Join me in this wonderful and simple meditation - for when you have only a few moments and you want to refocus your mind, return to balance in mind and body, and for calmness and feeling centered and aware - in the present moment.

Hello everyone,

This is Dorothy Ratusni.

In this meditation I will show you how to come back to the present moment from wherever you are,

From whatever has roused you out of contentment and peace.

You can be seated or lying.

Most important to have your eyes closed.

Wherever you need to return to yourself,

To balance,

To calm,

Give yourself a moment to close your eyes.

Focus inward.

Focus on your breath.

Observe the natural draw,

The inhalation of breath.

And the gentle release,

The exhalation.

Each time we move out of balance,

We can easily come back to a place of stillness,

Of focus,

Simply by closing our eyes,

By returning our attention to our breath and to breathe with awareness.

With me now,

Continue in your breath cycle,

Simply being,

Allowing the nature of breath to move through you,

Simply attending to your inhalation and the release,

The exhalation.

Be deliberate in your breathing.

Let yourself be mindful of the quality of every breath.

How does it feel?

Notice your mind begin to still.

Notice your heart rate,

The rate to which you breathe.

Your ability to return to the present,

Simply by returning your attention to your breath.

So well done everyone.

Thank you.

Namaste.
