Silent Meditation: Understanding Our Busy Thoughts
On Day 1, we uncover why many people struggle to settle their thoughts during silent meditation. It is essential to understand why this happens and not feel you are failing at meditating but acknowledge your thoughts during meditation. Silent Meditation: Examining Our Posture
On Day 2, we expand on the importance of a comfortable posture and how to achieve it. We discuss how this posture will help you achieve the outcome you are looking for in meditation. Silent Meditation: Surrender
On Day 3, we will discuss what it means to have awareness during meditation. We discuss how to surrender to your mind and body and let go of control, which will not come quickly for most of us. Then, we continue to expand our silent meditation length. Music by Ashot Danielyan from Pixabay

Silent Meditation: Embracing And Accepting

Lezione 5
Silent Meditation: Understanding Your Environment
On Day 5, we will discuss setting our environment up for success. We can take a few steps ourselves to make our meditation environment more enjoyable, including asking those around us to honor our space. Bonus Day: Does Meditation Really Work?
On the bonus day, we will address the question, " How do I know my meditation is working?" We will then practice 15 minutes of silent meditation without music. We will then end with some suggestions for implementing practices from now on to stay consistent in your practice.
