What Is Astrology?
Welcome to the wide world of astrology! Congratulations on starting your journey. In this lesson, we will dive into the origins of astrology, how one would benefit from learning the basics, and examples of how to use astrology in your daily life.
Lezione 2
The Personal Planets
The "personal planets" are those that orbit close to Earth and play a large role in our day-to-day lives. These speedy planets have small orbits, thus changing astrological signs at a rapid pace. Get to know the energies of the sun, moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars, and uncover how they interact with our lives.
Lezione 3
The Outer Planets
The outer planets orbit much farther away from Earth, thus moving more slowly than the personal planets, staying within an astrological sign for a longer period of time. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto influence us for longer periods of time, creating "chapters" in our lives. Learn the energies of these planets and see how they relate to themes from different generations.

The Elements
Earth, air, fire, and water dance together to create our physical reality. Each of the zodiac signs embodies one of these elements. Learn how the energies play together and learn how to identify the prevalence each element has within your natal chart.

The Modes
Just as each sign has an element, they also have a mode. The modes characterize one of the major ways each sign expresses itself. Learn which astrological signs are the excited starters, which are the tenacious doers, and which are the ever-changing evolvers.

Aries, Taurus & Gemini
The first three signs of the zodiac are Aries, Taurus, and Gemini. In the Northern Hemisphere, these are our Spring signs. Using your newly gained knowledge about the planets, elements, and modes, let's blend these energies to get a feel for these first three signs.

Have you noticed the pie pieces of your chart? These are the houses, or the rooms where your planets live. Each house holds the energy of an area of your life. Learn how the houses affect the energy of the planets and where you might see the planets' energies appearing in your life.

Energy is everywhere, especially within the planets. How do the energies play off of each other in the sky? When planets aspect each other at various angles, their energies are effected. Learn which aspects are harmonious, and which may cause some turbulance.
