Welcome to this feeling peaceful journaling meditation.
Find yourself in a comfortable position,
Ideally seated with your journal by your side,
And settle in and gently close your eyes.
Take in a deep breath through your nose,
Hold it at the top,
Hold and release.
Another deep,
Deep breath in through your nose,
Holding it at the top and release.
One more deep,
Deep,
Deepest breath of your day in through your nose,
Holding it at the top and release.
And gently focus on your breath.
A simple act of breathing.
Breathing in and breathing out.
I invite you to think about what peace means to you.
What is it to you?
What does it mean to you to be peaceful?
To feel at peace?
Do you feel peace in this moment as you sit allowing your breath to breathe you?
As you give yourself this gift of time,
This gift of meditation and going inward that you give to yourself?
I invite you to turn toward your journal and answer this prompt.
I feel peace when.
.
.
I invite you to think about what peace means to you.
I invite you to think about what peace means to you.
And this prompt.
.
.
What is one thing I can do for myself today to bring me peace?
And just for fun,
You could form this as a vow.
Today I vow to bring myself peace by.
.
.
Today I vow to live in peace by.
.
.
Find the words that work for you.
And free write.
You may be on a roll writing about what brings you peace and the vows you're making to yourself.
And if that's the case,
Keep on writing.
Or you can come back to it later.
When you're ready,
I invite you to come back to your body.
Slowly closing your eyes.
Focusing on your breath.
How do you feel in this moment?
Do you feel at peace?
Do you feel more peaceful than when you started this meditation?
I hope so.
I wish you much peace and much joy today and every day.
Thank you so much.
Namaste.
