This sharing is a multiplier.
These sharings don't replace your current practices.
They're here to amplify them,
Making your practices more powerful,
More sustainable,
And more joyful.
What if everything you've ever learned could now work even better?
What if meditation became easier,
Mindfulness more natural,
And life lighter?
Let's begin.
Take a gentle breath in and let it fall out naturally.
Feel your breath slow down.
Let your body soften.
Feel your body relax.
And this time,
Listen with your whole being.
Not to understand,
But to hear something differently.
As if these words were not telling you anything new,
But revealing something you had forgotten.
Let's remember together.
Remember the last time you saw the sea on the horizon.
Remember that line almost still between the sky and the water.
Remember the sailboats,
Those white shapes resting on the water,
Held without any visible effort.
Remember the boats,
Some small,
Others immense,
But all floating on the surface of the sea.
Remember that moment when you may have paused without really knowing why,
Just watching,
Fascinated by this quiet miracle.
The miracle of water.
This formless liquid slipping through your fingers each time you try to hold it,
And yet carrying immense boats effortlessly.
Perhaps it was this,
This silent intelligence of life that touched you as you stood there gazing at the horizon.
And now,
You know,
There is a simple law in nature.
A buoyant force,
A law that allows ships,
Sometimes massive,
Sometimes very heavy,
To float.
The law is simple.
For a body to float,
It only needs enough surface in contact with the water.
The heavier the body,
The greater the surface must be.
Nothing else is required.
The law operates on this truth,
Silently,
Reliably,
Always.
Remember,
All those boats you've seen floating were not trying to float.
They were simply floating.
And what if it were true for you too?
What if there were a similar law within you?
Not physical,
But psychological,
Natural,
Reliable,
Always.
Something that allows you to float without trying to.
What would be that surface for you to float emotionally?
Is it your thinking?
When you think more,
Do you feel lighter,
More at ease?
Not really.
Your thinking is the weight.
So,
What allows you to feel carried?
Trust.
That quiet sense of ease when you no longer doubt what you feel drawn toward.
When doubt softens,
And something in you simply knows.
Doubt is movement,
Agitation,
What water can't hold.
What makes you sink is not the weight of your life.
It is the agitation around it.
Restless thoughts trying to fix,
Anxious thoughts trying to control,
Busy thoughts trying to make sense of everything,
All at once.
So much agitation,
Turbulence.
And in that movement,
In that agitation,
The surface disappears.
So maybe it's not the weight that makes you sink,
But the loss of contact with that surface because of the agitation.
So remember,
Floating is not something you have to achieve.
It never was.
It is something that happens when there is enough space,
Enough stillness,
Enough trust for life to hold you.
It is something you allow.
Keep breathing in and out,
And let yourself relax as the surface expands.
You don't have to fix anything.
You don't have to reduce the weight.
You don't have to figure anything out.
Just notice what happens when there is a little more space,
A little more openness,
A little more trust.
And your trust amplifies each time you notice that it does hold you.
It holds you like the surface of water as you keep remembering.
And notice remembering is enough.
