This sharing is a multiplier.
These sharings don't replace your current practices.
They're here to amplify them,
Making your practices more powerful,
More sustainable,
And more joyful.
What if everything you've ever learned could now work even better?
What if meditation became easier,
Mindfulness more natural,
And life lighter?
Let's begin.
Take a breath through your nose,
Feeling your belly gently feeling like a balloon,
As if to let you soar.
And breathe out slowly,
Through your mouth,
Feeling your belly soften and flatten.
You can even let out a deep sigh of relief and feel the sudden ease that follows.
Imagine yourself walking in a clearing or a peaceful forest with beautiful trees and a small stream.
A bird calls out.
The forest listens.
And are you now listening to,
With all the cells of your body,
As if my voice were water,
Hydrating every cell with presence and calm?
This isn't a destination,
It's presence.
You're not doing anything,
You're just there in this calming,
Safe place.
And maybe you're holding a small basket.
Maybe you're looking for flowers,
Mushrooms,
A simple joy,
A quiet quest,
A way to listen with your feet and your fingers.
You are walking within this symphony of green,
When suddenly,
Beneath the shadow of a fallen branch,
Something colorful catches your attention.
A mushroom,
Beautiful,
Red,
Glossy,
Perfect and poisonous.
You pause,
You observe,
But you don't pick it,
You don't taste it,
You don't ingest it.
Because you know it's only toxic if you do.
It's only dangerous if you let it in.
And then,
As a sudden sunbeam dances through the trees,
This little clearing lights up with the glow of consciousness.
And you wonder,
What if life were like that too?
What if stories,
Opinions,
Breaking news,
Gossip,
Judgment were like forest mushrooms?
Some are nourishing,
Some are neutral,
Some are toxic.
But only if you let them in.
We consume with more than our mouth.
We consume with our minds.
We feed on headlines.
We snack on comments.
We swallow criticism without checking the label.
And then we wonder,
Why do I feel so heavy?
Why do I feel sick with worry,
Anger,
Or shame?
Maybe it's not the world.
Maybe it's what we took in.
You decide to keep walking in this forest.
You didn't eat the mushroom.
You simply walked past it.
Not with fear,
But with recognition.
What if thoughts were the same?
You don't need to fight them.
You just need to see them.
You just need to recognize them as thoughts.
And when they are not nourishing,
Let them pass.
Breathe and keep walking.
That's wisdom.
Not resisting,
But not ingesting.
Come back to the sound of the forest.
To the feeling of your feet.
To the rhythm of your breath.
Let your hand rest on your belly.
And your attention rest on this moment.
What did you pick up today that you don't need to eat?
What thought entered your mind that you can now let go?
Let it go.
Just like the mushroom.
You saw it.
You knew.
And you chose not to eat it.
Not everything that grows is for your body.
Not everything that's said is for your mind.
You are allowed to pause,
To observe,
And to choose what you let in.
And maybe you'll notice the lightness returns when you stop feeding what drains you.
Breathe.
Smile.
Keep walking.
Life is a forest.
And you are welcome.
